Yes the show and Betty continue on (for now). That stinks. My daughter (and us as well) love them and would rather watch them than ride any of the rides. Betty Shambles is staying, I assume?
Yes the show and Betty continue on (for now).
Lots of the performers all do multiple shows. The actress who plays Betty also stars as Aria in the Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.
Stone Granite will still be here. That stinks! Some of our favorite memories are having lunch at the Derby with Stone Granite!
They’ve been doing this for years, the show has been cut away and hacked at for years now that it barely exists anymore as is.This is good. It means that they are implementing the first gradual step in phasing out the Citizens of Hollywood characters.
Umm Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset both still exist...so does the Chinese Theatre, all of which are “Old Hollywood” and is the one section of the park that still works. The backlot was broken, not the front half of the park.Indeed and that's by design. They're getting rid of the Citizens of Hollywood slowly. They evoke an "old Hollywood" feel and that is something DHS needs to stop. It was a nice concept in its day, but now with Star Wars ready to blast off next year, it's time they focus upon a galaxy far, far away.
My heart is shattered. One of the best parts about Hollywood StudiosSad to share but several long time Citizens of Hollywood lost their full time contracts including Paige Turner, Dorma Nesmond, Dara Vamp, and Officer Prime Brody.
Their last days in Hollywood will be September 29.
This is a cut.are they going to be replaced, or are they downsizing the cast again??
More and more cuts to the things that really make WDW so special. It's just a matter of time before they do the same thing to Main Street
