Nice pictures!

Ummm, that backhoe is dug in like a hungry tick. I mean it appears to be down below grade a good 7 or 8 feet. And that is right where the mystery project is rumored to be located. :lookaroun

Based on the renderings and the site plans, that's approximately where one of the new moats is supposed to go.

Good catch, I didn't notice that. It seems that the construction work is taking place a few feet below normal FL grade...I'm curious as to how they will level everything out.

It actually looks like the majority of the site has been graded out and is roughly at final elevation. I'm basing this on the presumed floor elevations of LM and BatB. The existing tunnel facility by the Village House is still uncovered and appears to be 3-4' below final grade.

Just trying to clarify:
Mystery project = rumored Snow White mine coaster?

If you're referring to the "mystery project" jt04 referenced a few posts back, yes.

But in actuality, it will be a bit further north/northwest than where that backhoe was sitting.

How low will that backhoe go? :veryconfu

If it keeps digging it is going to pop up in the China pavilion. :lookaroun

I heard that the tea part roof was made of glass.

i think its just remaining exactly as it used to be. which i hope not. not really liking the new pink painted metal work either.

question seeing as its supposed to be fantasyland forest, will we be seeing a substantial amount of tree/shrub planting? especially around the pooh area?

I've seen a lot of things with primer coats of paint on them in my life, and none of them have been hot pink, unless their final coats were also going to be hot pink :p

I remember some restoration-grade primers had a pink tint to them, a sort of heat-resistant additive. But that was for older cars.....

I just hope they put another coat on there before the project wraps up....
