Morning HUGGLES.

Woke up with a wicked bad headache.
*wishes the tylenol would work faster*

Worked the evening shift last night and didn't get to bed until close to 1:00am. I think I may go back to bed for a while.:snore:

So....

I was just unloading cat food out of the back of the van when i tripped on the driveway timbers and fell directly on my right knee. :( Right now I'm sitting with an ice pack on it contemplating a visit to the accident room. I could really use a huggle! :brick:

Oh no! Please don't cry!

If it is bruised and swelling....keep the ice pack on it for 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off. Are you able to straighten it out and bend it some? If not....I would see a doctor. If it just is sore to move it and you are able to stand on it.....keep doing the ice thing and take some tylenol or motrin right away to help with the swelling. Elevating it would help also. If you go to the ER, you could wait a long time and still end up doing the same treatment. It's your call....it's hard to access the situation over the internet.

Just use your best judgement. Either way you will probably end up with a bruised, very tender knee for a few days.

I hope this helps.:)

I'm sorry you fell.:( *BIG OUCHIE HUGGLES FOR YOU*

*now back to my regularly scheduled headache*

That's basically what I've been doing - icing it and Tylenol. I'm figuring if I go to the accident room, I'll be much more uncomfortable waiting around there, so I'm better off here.
I can bend it now, although it is pretty swollen. I called my boss and told him what happened, so I don't have to pick up the kids today, and tomorrow's my day off, so I think I will be OK.

Thanks for the huggles! Hope your headache goes away soon. I get those if I don't have coffee, or if I drink decaf.

It was surprisingly easy...

I knew all of the material listed, and then some. It was out of 140 marks, and 50 were multiple choice.

I finished all of the parts except the essay question before we could even leave the exam room (for an exam that should take 1.5 hours, you can leave only at the 1 hour mark). You can also stay up to 2 hours.

As a result, my essay question was the longest out of anyone's... 723 words.

Oh well that's good. I think it's nice to live on campus if you can. It's a whole new world!
You can say that again!

Katie, you will love living on campus. It really is like a whole new world. I lived in the dorms in my freshman year and I absolutely loved it. I grew so much and learned so much more about myself. I definitely became more independant because of it.

Now, I know your mom will miss you to pieces probably, but the good news is that you're only 45 minutes from home which is a very good thing. The only piece of advice I have about that though is try not to go home every weekend. When I lived in the dorms, I did went home every single weekend except the first one, and that is definitely something that I regret now.
