Junior high!!!
Actually I really enjoyed the kids - for the most part, and I still run into a few of them on occasion. It's really weird to see them all grown up with kids of their own (boy am I old!!!)

Oh dear!
For me it's AI, Dancing With the Stars, Survivor and Amazing Race.
I watched Skating with the Stars once too - it was interesting, but I'm not sure when it's on, so I haven't watched it since.

I really like Rogers and Hammerstein musicals. Is it a combination of all the songs or just certain ones? I can't believe you are still sick!!!! Take care of yourself and get completely better soon!

*HUGGLES*
It's a selection of songs from Sound of Music, South Pacific, Carousel, state Fair, King and I and Oklahoma.

As well as solo lines in the company bits, I have the duets "Something Good", "When the Children are Asleep" and "All or Nuthin'" as well as leading "Nothing Like a Dame"

Thanks for the get well wishes. huggles. I normally shake a lurgy within a week. I think I must have just caught one after the other.

I would have to say the songs from Sound of Music, King and I and Oklahoma are my favorites. I have the CD set of all of Rogers and Hammerstein's music.

Good luck with the production!!!

Giraffey, I recently read that the three questions most people ponder long and hard are:

1. Is there a God?
2. What is the purpose of my life?
3. Where am I headed through and at the end of all this?

Those questions are way too deep for the huggles thread, or at least for me today!!!!
1. No (I'd like to believe there is, but I can't)

2. Live it honestly, be good to those around you, laugh often, sing like nobody is listening, dance like nobody is watching and love like you've never been hurt.

3. Enjoying number 2 and eventually finding out what the deal is with number 1. I figure if I am wrong about number 1 (and I hope I am) that living as per number 2 will count for a lot - being a good person because you believe it to be the way to live has to be worth more than being good because you fear going to a hell or want to blag a good seat in the afterlife!

Okay, I'm really missing ice cream and I need someone to have some for me. Please.

So.....On a completely different subject....way out in left field......I have been wondering what the true "purpose of life is"? I mean, how do we know what our true purpose on this earth really is? Some people know exactly what they want out of life and some people just keep "floating" around hoping to find it someday. Any thoughts?

Has anyone read the book "A Purpose Driven Life"? If so, was it worth buying?

The purpose of life is to fight off death.
Eventually, we loose.

I'm not going to go into the philosophical stuff right now because it's difficult to do without offending somone...

No matter where I am in my life and no matter what I'm doing, I have the feeling I should be doing something else. Damned if I know what, though!

Sleeping? Eating ice cream? Huggling me?
