Oooohhhh, more CC pics! I must say, some of my favorite pics from the trip as of us sitting with our toes in the water, looking at the ship. The cabana's are sooooo wroth $500! If you think about it, we did the dolphin swim at Nassau and that was $200 a person for about 45 minutes with the dolphin! And while it could have lasted the whole day between the dolphins, beach, slides in the water, etc... it didn't because it poured!! :( At least if it rains at CC you have that lovely cabana and you have it the whole day!!

Ohhhh those karaoke pics.... That was fun! :) @PartOfYourWorld is a great karaoke partner! I definitely did not do John Travola any justice when I sang his part!! lol

"Team Cabana" needs to be on next year's t-shirt.

Great idea! I want two!

Loving this report! I especially love your pics of the cabanas as I was finally able to snag one for our Feb Dream cruise (you know? the one where I mentioned I would be at CC on my birthday!). So looking forward to finally experiencing that. And we did select a family beach one, even though we are diehard SB fans...can't beat the view of the ship from the FB.

I had to laugh at the lizard launch and such. It's obvious you guys are not from Florida! LOL In fact, when I lived in the dorms at U of Miami, they were often found in our rooms (dead or alive). And not a day goes by during the summer that one is not nearly on my toes either walking out the front door, or nearing the building at work. I would have paid money to see that interaction!

Dinner at Palo...amazing as always!

Speaking from the voice of experience, spending your birthday in a cabana on Castaway Cay is the best ever! Add in the Lovely Ladies of the Dream, and it's off the charts!

And @Disneyfalcon I need copies of those pictures of the writing in the sand - they have my birthday written across them!

This was truly the best day of the cuise and I so enjoyed reliving it through your amazing photos.

I think we're all really glad you went back for the wide-angle, Tammy!! Fantastic shots. There's just something about those umbrellas...and of course, looking back at the Dream itself.

@jesemeca, good eye!! I'm going to have to go back now and have another look at that photo.

The photo of the chandelier reflected in the grand piano is stunning.

Day 5 – Day at Sea

Last full day onboard! We thought we’d sleep in today, but I don’t think we slept past 8:30.

We got dressed and went for breakfast in Cabanas.

I’m pretty sure this was Missy’s. I am not a huge fan of the little Mickey waffles. :jawdrop: I know! Shame on me! They’re too crunchy! I like the big softer ones, but not these. Besides, there are no breakfast potatoes on this plate! It can’t be mine.

That’s more like it! :)

After we ate, we wandered for a little while. The princesses were holding court (see what I did there?) in the lobby:

Deck 4 was pretty quiet:

Missy and I went to 687 for a pub quiz that morning. The host was hilarious! She told us she had the answers and we couldn’t argue with her answers. Besides the list was laminated she said! You obviously can’t argue with a laminated list, right?

Apparently the first answer was Speedy Gonzalez.

She was from the Great Britain and at one point told us how many people congratulated her when Kate and Will had a baby. She thinks it’s hilarious that Americans apparently think she had something to do with it. :)

We did pretty well actually! I think there were 15 teams or so and we came in 4th! And there were only two of us! Some teams had like 6 people on them so we obviously rocked.

We froze up on some we probably should have known (Ravenclaw is the 4th house of Hogwarts! Duh!!), but got a lot of them.

The host gave the winner a lovely prize of a plastic Monster’s Inc. cup and antenna topper. She talked up the “prize package” pretty big! Lol

After our fine performance, we went back to our room to change because we had big plans for lunch! We had reservations at Remy today with Sherry and Siobhan!

Woo hoo!

When you first go in for brunch, you go into a room where you’re served a plate of freshly shaved prosciutto and then a glass of champagne. The servers and sommelier come to tell you what to expect.

I asked for something non-alcoholic and was given the same drink they gave me the first evening when we dined in Remy. It was quite yummy.

Some of the champagne:

Look at the chef!! Is this Gusteau or what? That can’t be a coincidence that the chef looks just like the chef in Ratatouille can it?

Missy found a small bottle of champagne…

They told us these were created for women! They’re cute and pocket size!

John Lasseter!

When we got back to the room, Missy was tired! She tried to tell me she wasn’t moving out of the room, but I didn’t let her succumb to the tiredness. :)

We went to the stores for a little while and bought some gifts. Here’s Missy modeling the Vera Bradley onboard:

Up next was a private Mixology class with the ladies in Pink!

Everyone was kind of quiet at first. Very uncharacteristic! :)

Here’s the first group being instructed:

They’re going to work!

Drinks for everyone!
