Pre-Trip Crazy lunatic might be taking a solo trip

Some dialogue from the Phil and Buddy household:

Me: So, you said when there were five new things open, we can go back.

Monster: BLAAAHHHHHGGGHHHHFFHGFDSTREEJJHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Me: What was that?

Monster: There aren't five new things open, so forget it!

Me: I want a divorce.

Monster:
You can't have a divorce because we are not even married! (side note - he will not marry me because I have a zillion dollars in debt that he is afraid of inheriting if I get hit by a bus.)

Me: Okay whatever, but there are enough new attractions there that I get to go again.

Monster: Have fun!

Me: Well maybe I'll take a solo trip.

Monster: Well, maybe you should!

Me: You don't care about slinky dog coaster or Toy Story Land?

Monster: No, because I am not five years old!

Me: GRRRRRRRRRR..............

Hmmmm......so I am seriously thinking of a brief (3 night?) solo trip. Have never done that before, but if it happens, October, maybe?

Anyone wanna hang out with a crazy loon? :)

Any updates as to what you may do? Solo trip vs trip somewhere else vs stay home?
I think I'm gonna go for it. I seem to be a little light on the green stuff at the moment, but I do have an Amex that I just paid off and it is screaming "USE ME! USE ME!" at the top of its little Amex lungs. Suze Orman would definitely not approve.

So, I might have a glass of wine or ten tonight and start playing around with dates and pricing. 😜

Abominable, Grinch, Monster...do I detect a pattern?

Is there a Grumpy shirt in the closet?

Lol, my husband has Grumpy Santa hat from Disney, and he tries to be the Grinch, every year at Christmas. We broke him.. he puts up enough lights every year that our neighborhood, has way too much traffic, lol. And we leave in a couple of weeks to go back to Disney. Don’t give up, it is just an act @BuddyThomas 🤨

If you can do a Thursday to Tuesday or something with all mid week flights you may get some good deals on airfare too. I booked for early December doing a Thursday to Tuesday out of Newark and I got JetBlue for $204 including bags, round trip. My flight times are awesome, 6am departure and 7:45pm departure….maximum park time on arrival and departure day! I purchased the airfare on a Tuesday, they say thats the cheapest day to buy air.

Thanks for the tips! If I can pull this off, it's gonna be more like Monday through Thursday for three nights. I only see Phil on the weekends (he lives on Long Island, I live in NYC) and he'll turn into a total beeyotch (worse than usual, ha ha) if I do anything like ditch him for the weekend for Disney. I'll never hear the end of it. 😜

Hey, it's HIS choice not to join you, right? You aren't "ditching" him. He can go or not.
