Crazy girl at WDW gets mad

Why do all the crazies gotta be from Jersey? Give us respectable princesses a bad name  Wish I could hear all that she was sating in the beginning though. Couldn't hear anything before 'fingers in my face means sexual harrasment"
I don't think she's from NJ. I think Bob the CM was - she was making a point to let him know she had read his name tag and would be reporting him.

Ok...so far it sounds like she wants to eat at the Hibatchi Grill...is that in China? Japan? and she does 'not' have reservations? but was angry and people were cutting in front of her or the CM was taking people over her. The CM is saying that he offered her some sort of priority seating that she refused. She is saying there should be some open tables to accommodate her party and that it is unprofessional that they don't have any. That's what I am getting and I have to replay the video over.

I hate only getting half the story...can't the video stalker get a phone with better sound? haha

Oh.My.God. We watched a similar, but worse, incident at 1900 PF when a family of 10 walked in and wanted to be seated for dinner without ressies and simply would not accept no for an answer. "How can you possibly be booked solid for the evening?! That's impossible!" "Actually ma'am, we've been booked solid for 190 days". It got so bad, Security had to be called.

This little lady, ah-hem, thought her cute braids, tan , hand on the hip stance and little shorts were gonna get her in. That works at the BAR and grill, not hibachi grill. :D

Yikes...I can't imagine treating anybody that way. Gotta wonder how often CM's have to deal with stuff like this.

Much more often than you think...you would be amazed what the average Cast Member has to put up with. That's why I always advocate for thanking and recognizing Cast Members for a job well done. We appreciate it more than you probably realize and makes us remember why we love our jobs after dealing with situations like this. =)

Definitely a lot more than you think. I have two experiences. Granted, they CMs are there to work and I completely understand that. But people really need to relax, slow their roll, and remember that they are people too!

1. I stay at the Poly and I don't know about anyone else but something comes over a person when the nightly fireworks starts. It's like a unspoken rule that while the fireworks are going on everyone kinda stops what they are doing and watches. Just the thing. So my cousin is inside the lobby ...getting Dole Whips or something...and I was standing outside the doors that lead in from the lobby to the pathway to the pool. A CM came over, mid aged woman, and we were talking about how as many times as she sees them she never gets sick of them. While we are chatting, this young girl (in her 20s)....wait...OMG, I am 32 and I just said a 20 something was a young girl! :arghh: anyway...she comes over and asks the CM if there was a hot tub at the Poly. The CM was kinda like 'You know, I don't know' and I spoke up saying there wasn't one. Well the girl just ignored me and goes to the CM 'you don't know? Can you go find out please?' in the snippiest of attitudes. Now, first, I wonder if this girl was even a guest because if she was, I am sure she would have looked at the booklet and saw there was no hot tub. True, maybe the CM working there should have known. But maybe she was new and didn't learn all the ropes. Maybe she was just a temp transfer. either way, there was no reason for that girl to be so rude. anyway, that was the end of my conversation with the lady because she had to go 'fine out' so the tramp could go hot-tubbing with her 20min boyfriend

2. This wasn't anything major. Just something that stuck out to me. Now, I don't pin trade. Not really my thing. But when I went to Disney in 2012 and visited the Studios for Star Wars Weekend, I did treat myself to a SW lanyard and some cute pins. I was walking out of the Darth's Maul and down the BLVD when I heard a CM in the vacation club hut mention Davy Jones. Now, I had booked that trip specifically to see Davy Jones at the Flower and Garden Festival. Unfortunately, he passed away that February. But instead of cancel the trip, I went anyway (Micky Dolenz ended up filling in). So I pop my head in and say 'did I hear someone mention Davy Jones?' Something I never do. So me and the two CMs started talking Monkees and Davy's passing and all that. And the entire time, these kids would come over wanting to pin trade with him. And they were the RUDEST kids I ever saw...mostly 10 year old boys. They didn't say 'excuse me' or 'sorry for interrupting' or 'may i see your pins please?' Nope, just just bust in and pull out their lanyard and just grab stuff off the CM. Some barely had a 'thank you'. It was weird. The guy was very nice and patient but man... One kid even said 'this is all you have?' I mean, really? Anyway, I didn't want to keep the guy up from his job so I began to head out. I did give him my Star Wars Weekend park maps. Someone did come in and ask about the parade route and the poor guy didn't know. I did, however, and told them where to go for the parade. The CM said he didn't have a map and probably should have one in case others ask. So I told him a quick synopsis of the happenings and going on of the weekend and he was very greatful.

3. (last one...I know, I'm a windbag) So, my family went to go see Voyage of the Little Mermaid. My grandmother, who was in a wheel chair, was escorted in by a CM along with another family with a lady in the wheel chair. The other lady was ahead of us and the way the seating worked was she was placed in the back while my Gram was placed in front (Instead of wheeling everyone all over to put us in the back...each group had a party of 7...one of those situations). So the other family flipped out at the CM saying we were not allowed to be in front and she rolled her wheel chair up to where they were going to put my gram. This really flustered the CM, who was a cute young girl, and she tried to explain to the family what they need to do. They weren't having it and were very course and rude to her. So my gram told her she could place them somewhere else if she needed. The CM was very thankful and she put us somewhere else. I just don't get the mentality. Especially with a show like the Little Mermaid where you can see everything no matter where you are.

So, those are just a couple of things the CMs deal with. So like others, I try to be really nice and thank them every occasion I can.

Since I've got that CEO job for a year, that young lady - and she's no lady - would be the first guest I would personally escort out of the park and ban for life. And resist the temptation to drag her out by her braids. And as I throw her boney *** out of the park, tell her it will behoove her to remember that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

And yes, please threaten to sue us for sexual harassment because it is highly probably someone caught you berating one of my employees on their camera. And he didn't touch you.

Since CMs cannot (and probably shouldn't) respond to rude and inconsiderate guests, I will do it for them. After standing in line waiting about 45 minutes to enter the Rose Garden viewing area for Wishes and having a nice conversation with others in line, this couple walked up to the front of the line about 5 minutes before the CMs let people in. And they were eating these HUGE ice creams, which for some reason they felt gave them license to cut in front. The CM politely told them the end of the line was back along the bridge. Which they ignored. Others in line told them the same. Which they ignored. So I decided it was time to turn on my mode and told them in no uncertain terms that the end of the line was back there about 100 people and they needed to go to the end of the line as those of us in front had been waiting well over 30 minutes. To which the woman said "we know, we aren't cutting in front". To which I said, "Are you stupid? This is the front. Go to the back of the line. As the cast member nicely asked you to do. Otherwise, some of us just might MOVE you back there." She finally got the hint and walked to the back of the line. To which I commented to the folks from England in front of us, "Americans just don't know how to queue" loud enough for the dolt to hear me. And was applauded by folks standing behind me.

I'm tall and can be an intimidating when necessary.... Normally wouldn't confront another guest, but she had been told several times where the back of the line was. And my back was hurting, so I was really crabby.

Come on forumites. This is nothing but an obnoxious local drunk who has the "I am more important than you" entitlement chip on her shoulder staking her claim. Nothing to see here folks, just keep moving.

Maybe I am reading too much into this, but after watching the video again, I dunno what it was about her, but something makes me wonder if she was acting all along. Maybe she just has awkward behavior, but something just seems like at times she is putting on a show, and not legitimately as upset as she'd like to appear. I could be way off base with this theory, and she could be nothing more than a spoiled brat. But at times I wonder if she was doing some sort of (sick) prank, or a project of sorts for sociology, or just trying to "impress" her friends. Not saying it makes her actions right either way.
