Amazing! I love these sort of effects you can get with the melt and pour (MP) soaps! I dabble in cold process (CP) soaps, but I find with MP soaps, you can get very creative, especially when there’s clear soap to give cool effects like waves.

Here’s a couple CP soaps I’ve made...View attachment 523917View attachment 523918

Does anyone else think these look almost edible, like cheesecake or something?

Here's some more of my work...

One-shot lettering enamels on aluminum, hand-painted and airbrushed (terrible picture though). I actually used a flamingo feather I'd picked up off the ground at - God's truth - Discovery Island at WDW to create the "marbleized" background using blue, pink, white, purple, and sky blue paint, sprayed with turpentine from a pump hairspray bottle, then sort of used tilting the aluminum to get the paint to spread and added more veining with the feather and turpentine technique until I felt happy with it (now that I'm older, I wish I hadn't used that feather though, as I still have others from the same trip).

Hand-carved unicorn horns, unfinished

Unicorn horn #1 finished - painted with acrylics and burnished with mother-of-pearl and gold bronzing powder

@Timmay ...you'll likely appreciate these ones. The coffee table was a retirement gift. The sign was a memorial plaque for an officer who died on duty.

I'd like to smack whoever took this picture (I can't remember who it was...but we were rushing to get it finished in time for the dedication ceremony, so there's that. I was finishing up the paint when the two officers who ordered it came to pick it up. It was such a detailed piece that we knew timing was going to be super-tight.)
All wonderful and amazing. Thank you for sharing.

Good now it's time for you to share ;)

I haven't really worked on anything since Christmas😂😂 it's all virtual school still so no lunch bags, and in my spare time ive been writing a book (crafty but not photogenic) and remodeling my kitchen (photogenic but not crafty) 😂😂I have nothing to share right now😂😂

i did finally pull my cabinets off the wall yesterday, and I found a lot more repair work needed than expected😂😂20210113_130624.jpg

So, yes...another hobby of mine. Photography. (Hey, the title does say hobbies)
Yes, there is a photography section, and I’ve posted some stuff over there. So, anyone here photographers?

I’ve got a Sony a6000 with a wide assortment of lenses. I also find the phone, with Lightroom Mobile, to be pretty decent as well.

I try my best. Downsized from a EOSM to a point and shoot. Thinking about going back to a mirrorless.

Yeah. It’s nice to have when planning a day of it. I rarely use it unless my intent is to spend a day or two scouting and shooting...in the summer...when it’s nice. I’ve gone exclusively to my iPad Pro for editing all my pictures as well. No more PC.
