Rumor Country Bear Jamboree to be Replaced by Toy Story Show?

Painting with far too broad of a brush there. Where's the line for you between "profiting and popularity of Disney" and just providing content people happen to be interested in? Or would you prefer the only information we get about Disney parks come from company press releases?
Of course I am...That’s part of my witty charm 😉

But as with pretty much anything...it’s hard to dispute that’s theres some fire behind my smoke

And to answer your question: I have no idea where the line is...but I know that in 20+ in Internetdom, the line has not been found consistently enough.

I don’t pay too much attention to Disney either...I know their motives so there are few surprises. The gondola was the most shocking move for probably a decade...maybe 2

I like credentialed business/travel analysts takes on Disney developments...they tend to balance rumor with officiality and less BS sauce

What happened to explorer? Is he serving a 5 minute major in the sin bin?
People kept calling him names. He then got banned for being on the receiving end of nasty insults and still having the audacity to ask why there was a special rule that said 'call explorer names at your convenience'. Abuse payed off, the mob won and got him expelled.

Underperforming compared to trackers I guess, it's still one of the biggest animated openings ever.

Yes, I suspect it will be like Aladdin which caught on big due to word of mouth. People were doubting it opening weekend too. But it has had amazing legs.

I suspect TS4 will have similar holds right up until The Lion King.

Looks like Disney will finish 1st and 2nd at the box office today and tomorrow. Another great hold for Aladdin. I doubt the mouse is losing any sleep over TS4 ticket sales.

My hot take...

1. I have never been much of a fan of CBJ, even though I tend to love vintage Disney stuff. I can't say I'd be heartbroken to see it gone, if the replacement is of good quality. Tiki Birds is far more to my liking and would really bother me to lose. That said...

2. MK needs to expand not replace. There's plenty of space to build a new theater somewhere if desired. Heck, using the small one theater setup of MK for a popular new show would be horrible for capacity reasons. I would firmly agree with adding actually entertainment to the Diamond Horseshoe before replacing CBJ

3. I don't mind the idea of a Woody's Roundup show in FL - but it should be an actual western concept of it being "real" like the Woody show from TS2. It should not be the odd "are these 'alive' toys?" vibe that you get from the Buzz ride.

3a. Again, though, should be in a new venue of Diamond Horseshoe. Add, not replace

4. But it would be even better if CBJ were replaced (if need be) by an original parks concept. Not holding my breath but would be nice.

My only hope is that they move the country bears to wilderness lodge or reflections, even make it DVC only if they have too. They could even say they are following Walt's wishes as it was orginally made for a resort at mineral King. I think Chuck E Cheese pulling all their animatronic shows put CBJ on the chopping block as decision makers saw it as a outdated business concept. Maybe tiki room will become a full bar to maximize revenue

Turn your phone sideways (if using such) and signatures appear!
Thank you...you’d a thunk I would have at least discovered that accidentally by now, huh?

Anyway, @RSoxNo1, I’m not entirely sure that bet is gonna hold...I think there’s a decent chance they have the flat ride equivalent of Test Track on their hands. We’ll see...it’s getting to crunch time.

By the way...the bullpen is just brutal. 15th blown save according to NESN yesterday - mlb stats says 17 😬

Toy Story 4 is underperforming. Time to put these plans on hold. 😏

It’s weird though...toy story was really good. I wouldn’t say fantastic, but “very good”.

Aladdin is not...but somehow found a hook.

Weird to say the least

Why on earth would they move a show to a resort? Wilderness Lodge isn’t a Great Wolf Lodge (thankfully).

TS4 is doing fine. Some of its estimates were absurd.

Still haven’t heard one way or another about my Tiki Room birds...

I think its the one thing, for me anyway, that would be the last straw and I would not return. They cant keep taking things away that people love,,,, but they dont care and that seems to be the mission lately. And with the 50th around the corner its even more upsetting. They sure are trying to get rid of animatronic populations left and right.

This isn’t about getting rid of animatronics
