This may have already been mentioned, but a Dis Streamer was showing clear symptoms while at Disney and vlogging about it as she's walking around stores. She went to first aid for shortness of breath, coughing, sore throat, and vomiting, and they told her to go to a hospital. She refused, spent the rest of the day at MK, and she's at AK today.
Disney is private property. They can ask anyone to leave at any time. Did she have a temperature over 100? If so, that alone is enough to escort her from the park. If Guest Services is aware of this, the park is now complicit in spreading the virus to other cast members and customers.

See @Andrew C post above. The woman supposedly had an allergic reaction to nuts in a drink. They aren’t going to kick someone out for that. It’s also hotter than the surface of the sun right now with sickening humidity. If they kick out anyone having trouble breathing in a mask in this heat and humidity, the parks will be mostly empty.

If she had the symptoms and went to the first aid why in the heck did Disney allow her to continue walking around the parks that day let alone the next day. The story sounds suspect
Because... and I don’t know why folks who follow WDW don’t get this... Disney is going to do go to any measures to avoid a viral video of them forcing a guest out of the park and off their property. All of their strongly stated policies may sound nice, but Disney will do anything to avoid confrontation and, thus, actual enforcement. In most cases, they lack even the capacity to detect repeat offenders - do you think they track each guest caught with their mask down?

maybe, just maybe, more testing resulting in lower positivity rates will get the attention of...you know who...and then it'll become a national movement to do more testing, and then we can finally continue on our mission to eradicate this little beezy called covid 19.

I’m certainly happy testing has gone up, gotta get consistently under 10% so that we can start assuming the raw case numbers are essentially the true amount of people infected.

In a pandemic people would feel good about Disney asking a sick guest to leave. The viral video they would be afraid of would be one that shows a sick guest happily strolling around the parks.

That's why I asked about the temperature. Many of those are allergy symptoms, with the exception of vomiting. I've had severe seasonal allergies all my life and never it did make me vomit.
Except they didn’t say it was seasonal allergies. Everyone goes through a temp check to enter the park so she went though yesterday and apparently today without a problem on temp. That doesn’t necessarily mean a whole lot.

From the Mayo Clinic site (bold added to highlight the symptoms):

The most common food allergy signs and symptoms include:
  • Tingling or itching in the mouth
  • Hives, itching or eczema
  • Swelling of the lips, face, tongue and throat or other parts of the body
  • Wheezing, nasal congestion or trouble breathing
  • Abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting

I get that there’s a natural desire for some people to look for some smoking gun against the Disney re-opening but this ain’t it. It seems like a non-story, story. I can say with a pretty high level of certainty that there was someone walking around the MK and AK yesterday who was positive for Corona virus. It would be almost statistically impossible for that not to be the case. Everyone knows the risks going in and has accepted them by showing up.

15 and a half thousand.

Sobering.
...and with the percent positive still over 11% you can be sure there’s more that weren’t caught.

If this pace continues, in less than 2 weeks FL will pass NY for total number of cases. Thank God the death toll isn’t anywhere near where NY was back in March. Silver lining if there is one.

The good news is that no one ever listened to the... anyone... that said we shouldn't do more testing. We're up to over 600k per day int he US, which has been a pretty impressive growth. No other country is even at half that rate and only a few are above us in per capita testing. So this *should* help isolate cases. Though we seem to be as anti-contact-tracing as a nation as we are anti-mask.
