we will be down in WDW next Friday for 8 days also and the main thing we are considering changing is our buffet meals. is anyone aware of anything Disney is doing to reduce the risk at buffets? We were thinking Disney could have staff putting food on plates rather than having guests do it themselves. If not, we will switch to only do those that are served family style.

Honestly, you are both probably wrong. You are absolutely correct that we need to be careful about extrapolating from South Korea if what you said about the demographics are true (and I have no reason to not believe them). Likewise, others are correct in that your "All Data" numbers are pretty well accepted as inaccurate. It has been reported numerous times that many cases are not being reported due to lack of testing kits/price, mild symptoms, etc.

Now the thing is, last I read, the real worry right now is we don't know a ton about this yet. The flu does kill a lot more people than this right now. But we don't seem to have a handle on the ease of spread/incubation/what will happen in the summer/etc. that we do have on the flu. As you have pointed out, we don't know how far this is going to spread, or how fast. That's what we really should be worried about.

My wife is a retired ER/ICU nurse guess I don't have to worry about not having a nurse if I get the covid 19. Home healthcare

My wife is an RN as well.
She usually works as a director of nursing for assisted living facilities.
Right now, she is an assistant administrator of one.

If they are going to be quarantined anyway, what's the difference how long it takes to test? It isn't like cancer where early detection makes a difference. If they get symptoms they'll be treated. The reason for testing in the general population is so that people who are positive will be isolated.

Until a specific treatment is available, it doesn't really matter if you are positive from a treatment perspective. Respiratory distress from the flu is treated the same as it is for COVID-19.

There isn't apprehension to test. There was a failure on the part of the CDC to have tests available in anywhere near the required quantity.

I heard from the media that the cruise passengers that are ill would be tested first, but the thousands of passengers to disembark the ship would take 2-3 days. Then another 14 days in isolation.

If DW closes for a month or two, that stock will drop under 100 bucks and maybe get as low as 85..... I would be hard-pressed not to play the short game (not losses, just short investment) compared to Long investment.

Only thing is, once I sold to pay for my next trip to DW, I would be watching the profits go back up, and climb near 185.

I just want to be rich.
