I have never seen an automatic sink where you can control the temperature.
I suppose this depends how into plumbing and crawling under the sink you are inclined.

Assuming they didn't only plumb cold water (which is probably a code question), either the faucet or a device between the supply and the faucet is mixing the water to a predetermined temperature/ratio. If you were really upset, a little elbow grease and you could probably adjust the setting.

I was looking at one the mixers as part of hooking up a glass washer so I could use hot water without worrying about scalding burns. The rabbit holes that can be found online are endless......

Or maybe it's you who doesn't understand how this is for many people. We had the extreme anti-maskers who were downright rude about it all the way to the other extreme where we had total fearful people. Most fell between. There is a period of adjustment even if you aren't fond of masks for both. I think you know this though....

Bathroom doors that push out are nice too. People are gross, and I don't want to touch their door handles lol

Most I find have warm water, but warm water isn't what really matters anyway

I never understood the point of automatic soap dispensers.
During my doctor visit he stressed washing with warm water and soap especially during the pandemic. The automatic faucets I’ve used in dining areas and rest stops for example dispense cold water.

Less people touching things = good. Grime cannot build up. I clean my sink soap dispenser regularly because it gets gross.

Washing, yes. Needing it to be warm, no. Cold works (read the studies)

are you sure you don't get it? because I bet you actually do understand.
public transportation(which many mask opposers use) was more or less the last holdout which adversely affected those of us who found the regulation arbitrary and unneeded.
As I made clear, I was referring to those posters who weren’t masking in their daily lives anyway—the posters who’ve been telling us that they and everyone they know stopped caring about COVID months ago. I also made clear that my issue is with declarations of “COVID is done folks, time to move on”, not with expressions of personal happiness at the new situation.

Cold works, yes, but I hate washing my hands in ice water.

Oddly enough, I have found automatic sinks with instantly warm water in some road stops and truck stops while traveling.

Some Truck stops I’ve visited for food and cleaner bathrooms and yes automatic water sinks have nice warm water.

That's a choice made by the establishment. I've also been in restrooms with regular taps, and all there was available was cold. It has nothing to do with it being automatic.

I don't like it either. In fact I love hot water though my skin doesn't. I don't think I've had ice cold though.

Why are you arguing temps? Cold water or warm - both kill what it needs to. Or so Yale and Rutgers say https://www.yalemedicine.org/news/how-to-wash-your-hands
It's the soap/disinfectant that kills. Only way for temp to kill bacteria is to submerge your hands in 140F water for 15 minutes.

CFO dream of saving $$ ( water bills ) no more water running from someone not shutting off faucets or long use of water supply by some being curtailed.

You might have misread my post, I was talking about automatic soap dispensers not water.

Automatic soap dispenser so you don't get your hand dirty before you wash them. ;)

The last two clinics I worked at (including this one) have the coldest water at the sinks. It is nuts.
Yuck. Of course I destroy my skin loving hot water but still I know cold works fine.

Again, so you aren't putting gross stuff on the dispenser. I clean mine often, especially in the kitchen. This helps keep crap (literally and figuratively) from getting on it.

Thanks. Those are good. I still recall the prison soap white/ pink powder that rubbed your skin raw and took a few layers off in the process pre 9/11 in the theme parks bathrooms
