There is a new Masks at WDW thread where people are speculating about when WDW will no longer require masks on transportation. No official announcement has been made yet. People started posting before the "old" masks at WDW thread could be unlocked.

Sometimes, I feel like I literally have no idea what it is okay to post where. I'm not being argumentative, I'm being serious. I really don't know. And, yes, I'm familiar with the forum rules. I still don't get it. But another swath of my messages from today was just deleted, so I guess I'm doing it wrong.

This thread has become the WDW Magic equivalent of when a wrestler is suspended then comes back under a mask with a new name and denies being who he really is. The biggest disappointment is that nobody has come back as the Midnight Rider or Giant Machine.

COVID19 is here to stay in one form or another, WDW (for that matter all Disney properties) continue to survive and masks are (as should have been all along) becoming optional everywhere. My question is will there be enough controversy remaining to sustain this thread making it to 6000?

My post wasn't really meant to be a shot at him, but more about the statement typically used for those who complained when the mandates were extended. Works both ways...

Indeed it does. Anyone traveling right now needs to understand and accept a certain level of risk. Nothing can be assumed either way, particularly if being wrong will ruin your trip for you.

Yes it does. Plan a flight and have it extended, you knew it could. Same with those who wanted it and it wasn't extended. I give some sympathy for those who had changes made at the last minute but in this case I'm not sure there was a window he could've bought and not expected it to stay without it being hopeful thinking.
I fly next in June. I think we'll be mask free but I will pack some just in case always. Easier to go in thinking it could be either way. If it's mandatory one way or another for the generic you, don't travel at this time by air or train or whatever. It will all settle soon.
