I know at least one former Cast Member that quit because they believe the parks still should not have reopened from March 2020, and genuinely believes they (along with nearly every public space) should never reopen, as we will "never go back"

Sounds like Cate is going to live a long, uneventful, very boring life that most of us wouldn’t consider “living”. (Unless she’s one the ones that does everything “right” and gets it anyway).

Now that we have vaccines that keep us alive I can’t understand continuing to sacrifice prime years over Covid. Losing prime years so you can live a few extra years in a retirement home is a net loss.

To me, we should have waited for two things:

* That everyone who wants to be vaccinated could be (including < 5).
* That therapeutics like Paxlovid were widely available.

We are almost there but not quite.

By that first metric, the parks should still be closed.
