I wish they would. OC is almost certainly going to exceed the 14 days straight of below 5% 14 day average. My fear is they are now going to use the CDC classification for OC. Even though the positivity puts OC in the low range, cases per 100k per 7 days has to be below 50 to be classified as moderate. Currently it is at 94.37. Still need another 47% decrease in cases to get there. That will likely take a few weeks.

Low enough in both areas to go back to guidance where vaccinated can drop masks if they want.
Technically they can drop masks whenever they want and didn't even need to reinstate them indoors. See Universal.

The mandate has already been declared. Any additional sugarcoating by private industry with/ at the behest of government will be seen as propaganda.
Except this visually looks good to companies wavering. TBH if a few very visible people outwardly promoted vaccination in the first place, we wouldn't be where we are.
