it is the ultimate goal to provide opportunity for all to be vaccinated, but under 16 was always going to be last group (fall 2021 or later) and even without that age group it is possible to get to herd immunity in the adult population-still a few months away for that level to be achieved. Keep in mind getting to herd immunity is not the current and most immediate need in terms of getting as may people as vaccinated as fast as possible-its to stop the spread, drive down case numbers especially most serious cases, hospitializations and deaths.
I’m not sure what this has to do with my post? I was only commenting to the case where the 8 year old got a full dose of the vaccine. As with any medicine, height/weight/age matters in determining appropriate dosage. The vaccine this age group will get will be a different amount than the vaccine adults get.

12-15 is expected to be approved later this month for Pfizer. I expect it late Spring/Summer for them. J&J thinks they can get vaccines by Sept. Just more of an FYI

The Bobs have been looking to cut expenses since business school:( Guest satisfaction be darned:(
They are good with spending money on Disney+... which is still operating at a loss.

They are also good with spending money on buying up brands and properties, many of which conflict with Disney’s brand imho. (Pixar and Lucas fit within Disney nicely, Marvel and Fox not so much imho).

They do not seem to understand theme parks, hotels, restaurants, and live entertainment at all. I think they feel it is all beneath them. Movies and Streaming are “real” entertainment to them.

The Bobs didn't cut expenses as much as they endevoured to cut guests who understood/expected a quality experience.

It was the (new breed of) guests who tolerated and in some cases even cheered on an enfeebled product that allowed the Bobs to realize that they could turn those very same guests into an army that defends a lesser experience that costs more money.

One my siblings legit was telling people how she was lying about what she did so she could still visit family. My father has cancer and I was high risk pregnant. Such a having your cake and eating it too mentality. It cost her meeting her niece, while my brothers got to see her because they took getting vaccinated seriously. It’s so crazy how people can be so selfish..

I've had family members (in-laws) do the same thing and we only learned about it after the fact. These same people also gave us a hard time for wearing masks to the handful of family gatherings we attended. They're so deep in denial about this (and just about any serious life event) that they knew they had been exposed to people who later tested positive, kept that exposure a secret, and were still offended that we wore masks around them and wouldn't attend indoor gatherings. It's sad because we used to be very close but now there's a severe lack of trust thanks to their "We did nothing wrong but intentionally kept it a secret anyway" mentality. If you're reading this thinking that they sound like people who get their news from Facebook memes, you would be correct.

look at Disney stock price and total revenues-that's how their bosses judge them, and feeds how they approach managing Disney Corp. They aren't interested in entertainment, their focus is profits and speculation that drives stock prices

the only choice one has in these situations is simply not attend-its a difficult and personal decision that only you can make, but it is the only way to protect yourself and immediate family members

Yes and no. Yes in that of course the stocks matter. But no in that they simply do not “get” live entertainment.

Apple & Tesla prove that you can have leaders who get the product, don’t want to just play safe, and STILL do great at the stock market.

Thanks again for these daily updates. Question, not sure if you know but do they slice/cut the data by age group for the daily cases report? Curious to see what that looks like.

Like this? Look at the middle column that says "New cases (4/04)" -
