Looking at the parks, do we think it's seen a impact yet? ToT is 30 mins as of 3:15. Probably the lightest I've seen it mid day in ages.

I'll be interested in the crowd level the next few weeks, and with a new attraction opening in 2 days.

I don't remember how long the standby time was when I was there in January, but there were FastPasses available for ToT the whole afternoon the day I was at DHS.

On a purely selfish level, so long as my trip doesn’t get cancelled and the parks remain open, I’d take wide scale panic to not queue 2 hours for every ride at DHS

(Mostly joking - I know the situation is serious)

Airlines are cutting flights back now over here in the UK - it does however look like this isn't down to airlines not wanting to fly, its that people are cancelling trips.

Seeing the same thing over in the US?

It seems outside of FOP, wait times seem to be down across most parks. I in no way want to discount what others are going through with the virus, but for someone who has a trip next month, I would be okay with some lighter crowds and with the wait times I am seeing today.

While we know correlation doesn’t prove causation, interesting nonetheless.

Someone injected the Dow Jones and Nasdaq with some antiVirus vaccine. It's climbing back... I hope I didn't jinx it.
That was gonna happen...gamblers won’t give up their money without trying to force it back.

They were expecting a bump on Friday that didn’t happen.

Know why it’s up today? The traders decided - starting in Asia - that government stimulus is coming. Free printed money.

I think we need to see where this goes this week/month.

The dippy doos stateside will invent new was to stem the political tide right now. Not to bring it back to politics..:but it’s been a rather big day and all these things are interconnected

I am aware now that a fair number of very large companies are canceling travel of senior level people to industry and other kinds of meetings that I would describe as "non-essential, but generally thought of as important".

My level of concern that WDW may be closed before my trip scheduled for later this month has just gone up substantively.

It's mere speculation, but I'm guessing Orlando parks will stay on track unless the number of infected in Florida reaches 30+ or the overall USA number goes over 1k. I don't think the parks will close if crowds lower, they'll simply release discounts and me, myself and I disney nuts will come running.

One side of me hopes that this virus can be contained but another side of me wants Disney discounts....

I wonder if the parks were to close for a substantial amount of time, would construction and maintenance continue? It would be terrible, of course, but they could spend a good amount of time on getting RotR in better shape and all the Epcot work, even being able to do heavy construction and demolition during the day. Have they been working on Zootopia at SDL these last months?
