Theres a lot of armchair business owners on here.To be honest, Covid isn't just "any threat", come on now .
Not many businesses were prepared for a 18 month global pandemic.

Example Super spreader situation:
Did all 145 decide to party after work or something? How the heck did that happen?
Christmas party ala Dave Ramsey?Total COVID-19 cases among Costco workers in Union Gap rises to 145
The number of COVID-19 cases among employees of Costco in Union Gap increased to 145 as of Monday, Yakima Health District officials reported.www.yakimaherald.com
Perhaps a store Christmas / holiday party? [Pure speculation on my part]
Many are asymptomatic since it was mass employee testing at the store that revealed the extent of covid-19 in the employees
The phrase cluster bleep comes to mindI am sure a lot of people have already seen this, but here is a link just in case they haven't:
Florida's first-come, first-serve Covid-19 vaccination plan for the elderly leads to scramble
Florida's county-by-county plan to vaccinate its elderly population has created a mass scramble for a limited number of doses, leading to hourslong lines at vaccination sites and overwhelmed county hotlines and websites.www.cnn.com
Yes that comes to mind. The good news is :The phrase cluster bleep comes to mind
Florida is one of the few states that has begun vaccinating people beyond the first wave of health care workers and long-term care facilities. The state has administered over 150,000 vaccines so far, more than all but Texas, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
Just because something is not illegal does not mean it is the right thing to do.I’m going to copy this post and show it to all the front line workers that have working tirelessly for months without a vaccine.
Did I ever say I was going to hold out indefinitely. No I did not. I said some were waiting including myself. Did I say I was an anti vaxer no I did not. I just got a Tdap last week.
im so tired of the self righteous indignant people on this board. Sitting behind their keyboards shaming other people. Thinking they are part of the solution when they haven’t done a darn thing.except bark at a computer.
There is no stay at home order in my state. There is no law that says I can’t go to the movie eat in a restaurant or travel to WDW.
Enough already.

At least a few million Americans have gotten it already with many more worldwide. We’ve heard reports of anaphylaxis in a handful of cases (a few hands full worldwide), outside of that I’m not sure what the issue is supposed to be. By now any other serious issue that pops up would be a 1 in 10M shot so incredibly rare.Without wading into the firing line to far here, honest question: What will you be waiting for? What do you believe could be your trigger to get it?
I’ve been putting out fires among friends and family for the last few weeks regarding the vaccines. There’s been extreme amounts of misinformation and distrust about the whole process. Many, like yourself, seem to be waiting for ‘something’, but when pressed don’t seem to be able to articulate what exactly they are waiting for. Like yourself, none of these people are normally ‘anti-vaccine’ by any definition... so this has been very baffling to me and I’m trying to figure out ways to at least appreciate where they are coming from.
This is HUGE in my area, too. Our community Facebook "curbside dining" group has over 11,000 members looking for dinner ideas . . .Facebook and Instagram has been huge for A lot of the restaurants around us. They post their specials or pics of new dishes available for takeout almost daily.
I believe it’s bringing out the best in the thinking of restaurant owners. We need to change and how do we do it is the question most are dealing with. Communities are stepping up to help local businesses. It’s a win-win. Not only that, you will see some of these changes when the “ normal” comes back. A lot of people are going to be changing the way they do things. This is HUGE in my area, too. Our community Facebook "curbside dining" group has over 11,000 members looking for dinner ideas . . .
This here is a great sentiment. I can’t vaccinate until my baby is born but I’m very excited to see others get it as it makes me feel safer and I only have 3 months left, I can’t imagine people with more serious conditions who can never get it or not for a long time. My medical team is getting vaccinated in the next month. I would be horrified if they were turning down that option and putting patients at risk.My posts were not removed.
Unless you are a hermit, they are not low. I'm honestly not concerned about you specifically but those who cannot get the vaccine and need all to comply. I did this trial to save all lives. Think about your choices and how they affect beyond you.
That’s what I’ve been observing in my area as well. It certainly appears that the local restaurants around me are doing great business. Not to beat a dead horse as I’ve said before.. my friend who owns a sandwich shop told me even without his indoor dining he’s doing better then before Covid.
Big hugs to you. I hope you stay safe while pregnant. Yes, it's for those who cannot that I want all to get for. It's for those who cannot in the end, not those who can. This here is a great sentiment. Thank you! I don’t worry about what we choose to do but worry about my work. I teach and our community spread is very high without any pausing or slowing down. So just have to hope for the best from humanity.. my best friend going into nursing got a part time job at a rehab and got to have the vaccine. So there are def people ready to fill in nursing jobs etc if others don’t take the virus seriously. But from what I’ve seen the attitude of people in the medical profession here (MA) is more like how quick can I get it than let’s go to Disney World but skip the vaccine.Big hugs to you. Among my medical worker friends the willingness to get it is huge. In fact a relief to most. They are already doing dentists here which makes me happy. Thank you for teaching. I have a huge thanks to teachers (obviously along with frontline wokers). The attitude here is mostly positive towards the vaccine though I'm in a major city.Thank you! My main concern is more for my 12yo when they make it available for children. We ended up in the ER because her leg swelled enough to have pants cut off last time she had DTap & MMR at 9. They aren't sure which caused it because both were in the same leg. So that does make me a bit nervous but hopefully doctor will actually be held accountable to the observation period still. At least a few million Americans have gotten it already with many more worldwide. I am more than willing to listen to what the issues are or the reasons to want to wait or not get it, but so far I haven’t seen any that are compelling to me personally. If the reason is simply because someone just doesn’t want to get it then that’s their right. When this came up earlier I was accused of not seeing the other side and being narrow minded but so far nobody has been able to explain to me what the other side is. What are the potential issues with the vaccine that would make someone want to wait?
