It's hard for me to believe anyone running a temp of 100.4 would be asymptomatic and feel like spending a day walking ten miles at a theme park. I guess anything is possible.
Some people don't care if they feel bad they gotta get their fun in so they go to school, work, parks, eat etc. They just don't think about or care about all the other people there

I could see someone with a fever and feeling run down assuming it's just the FL summer heat getting to them and heading to the parks anyway. Hopefully it's a very rare occurrence if it happens, though.

Can't speak for everyone else, but when I run a fever, I can distinctly feel the difference in my body from normal "heat getting to me in Florida". YMMV

We will be fine and get through it.
We always have and always will. Since the beginning of time. What he is saying, I believe in a round about way, it doesn’t have to be this hard or take so long because of others. Sure it wouldn’t go away no matter what we did but just might be less suffering and actually make people grow up and act a bit more responsible. That would be nice.

I think you need to set your expectations for the general population at a reasonable level. For example, in Sweden where their measures have been limited compared to other places, their compliance rate was calculated at 80%. That is considered to be very high. One of the highest. After Pearl Harbor, I believe support in the US for joining the war was around only 78%.

It is extremely difficult to get an entire population on the same page. And it is sad how people view their fellow citizens when most are just trying to do the right thing. It’s hard to avoid the negatives when they are constantly thrust into our faces. I have a hard time with it and have to remind myself all the time that there is a lot of good out there. I guess that’s all...

I get your point and not trying to argue with you at all. We are not Sweden for sure. They usually have high compliance with everything they do. Quick google search will show you that. This is definitely not Pearl Harbor times either. Totally different mind set back then to what it is now. Although when it comes to war, at anytime during our history, usually the country comes together for the most part.
There is tons of good out there, we can see people helping others on a daily basis on the news, read about it online etc. and yes, the negative does get thrust in our faces because we are so separated as a society now that everyone takes their sides and doesn’t move one inch towards the other. It’s getting worse everyday and it’s sad. It’s great to know that there is good people doing good things. There is a other side to it and it’s getting bigger. We need to realize that also.
My expectations are that we should be helping each other, and that’s all I think we should all hope for.

It must be nice to have a job that’s so much fun you want to do it when your sick.
Not being snarky...I actually had a job I loved that much...it broke my heart when it had to change hands because it went down-hill extraordinarily fast. I'd have worked there my entire life if I could have.

Then there’s people like me that can be sick but squeak through their temp checks because a temp for me is 99°... not that I would but I could
