Is that the only door to the Futureworld tunnel? I keep seeing images to this entrance, but no exit. Or is it just the one entrance/exit?
Yes.

There are stairs and elevators up to various areas of Innoventions from it.

Whilst a cross park tunnel would have been useful, this was primarily designed to supply the landlocked Communicore restaurants and Centorium with supplies and provide a whole basement level of storage and office space beneath the two buildings. It was also used to get free roaming characters in and out of the park

Thanks Martin.
If you'd be willing to set the way back machine to 1982-83 again, as these construction photos have some interesting scenes of EPCOT, in the area that later became the tram turnaround at the International Gateway, what was there before the gateway was constructed? I see some trees and a path, almost looks like a park, from the long range pictures. Could guests access that area?

Welcome :)

Originally, before Gateway, there was nothing. The canal and berms curved out of sight and terminated next to the drainage canal and perimeter road at the park boundary. It looked much like the canal besides China. It was symbolic of the English Channel, added symmetry and interest to the lagoon, but went nowhere and did nothing. There was no guest access, but there was heavy landscaping to make the area and waterway blend into the parks berm and to suggest it continued on.

Is this the laundry facility that had a groundbreaking recently, within the past year or so?

This building is new and still being built per the Feb 2015 image capture on google earth. The roadway is new as well. It is across the street from ESPN and across the street from pop century.

ESPN parking is just off the top of the frame of the picture below. Pop Century and Art of Animation area is off frame to the right of the image.

@P_Radden Here's what I was talking about in the solar thread:

It's small, but it's just south of the DAK Parking lot.
Yes, that is the way that I usually enter WDW. Yea, no big banner saying welcome to WDW, but, it is a lot less congested though not overly scenic partially due to that eye sore of a former hotel complex decaying in the Florida sun. But, certainly is different. If I remember correctly, they have finally started to level the buildings there. I stayed at that hotel/motel back in the mid-ninety's when it was an EconoLodge.

Sherberth Road is the AKL guest best friend.
