i remember when i was 13 i always remember how innovations in epcot always showed all the latest in technology with quite a few exhibits and being 27 now iv always wondered why Disney haven't kept up showing the latest technology's etc

maybe its my age but i seemed to remember a lot more exhibits back 14 years ago. ??

that is really cool. i feel like this would be could utilized in so many parts of the park. It would be better to keep it indoors though because winds would definitely affect the shapes.

Not old, just vintage.
That is nuts! I love it. I think something like this has Disney written all over it. (Are you listening Walt Disney Co. internet moles? We know you are!) Never underestimate the entertainment value of just plain ol' water.

WOW! That is awesome! I'm always convinced Japan lives in the future. They're always at least 20-30 years ahead of us. I can't help but wonder how many people have to wizz when that's over though

This technology (or similar) was used by Jeep at auto shows last year. There is a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2LUz2WVcek

Interesting technology but what could it be used for at WDW (mind you it has to be used inside)?

It could possibly be used in a mostly enclosed arena like FantasMic in tandem with the mist/water screens they already use. It might not be quite as spectacular as that video but it would still be a very nice touch.

That in FANTASMIC.
I don't believe what is being mentioned in this thread is. In Fantasmic, it's a projection using the water as a screen. I believe what the original poster was talking about was the water itself actually creating different formations as it's falling down, creating the illusion of pictures appearing in the water. :)

Not new technology

This is actually not new. Budweiser had a display in Centenial Olympic Park in Atlanta for the 1996 Olympics that used the same technology.
