This can be taken one of two ways...after all, it was one little spark that led to the Enchanted Tiki Room dumping their "New Management." ;)
Good one hatter! I never got to experience it in person, but i have probally watched martins vid 100 times already...My wife tells me im addicted to Figment, and the Dreamfinder. Right down to the Desktop Background! I just wish we would get something worth while. I got there at rope drop to ride the current ride, and rode front row...and all i wished for is to hear dreamfinder. I knew i wouldn't but one can dream cant they? Isnt that what its all about? We need some imagination back in imagination.

I know someone who works merchandise for that area. I've been told that it's rather easy to get up there and they have witnessed someone going up a few months ago actually. A manager was sent up to follow/find the guests but obviously, there are a plenty of areas to sneak and hide in without being seen. That area is also, as we can see, heavily monitored by Cast.

If they are so into meet and greets, lets bring back the figment meet and greet, and make a space for it up there....at least it would be utilized someway.

So my first trip wasn't until '06 so I have no idea where the video in the original post was shot, can someone tell me? I know it's in Epcot (right?). But as far as which building, I'm clueless lol. How long as that area been closed?

Imagination! The upstairs area that TDO does not want you to know exists.

About 5 years ago, my then 3-year-old daughter ran up the stairs because she thought that's where Figment lived. This was shortly after they removed the Figment M&G next to the HISTA theater, and she wanted to go find him. :D

I vaguely remember it from childhood. Back then, Imagination was my favorite pavilion, followed by The Living Seas (sans Nemo and Friends) and HORIZONS!!! That was way back when it was not unusual to wait 90 minutes to ride Body Wars at the Wonders of Life pavilion. I find that most people who experienced EPCOT in the 80's and early 90's are quite dismayed by its current state -- maybe that's why they sell so much alcohol there! :p

I wish i could of seen horizons too...i didn't make it to Epcot as a day trip till 2002...Mission Space was well underway being built...Nothing excites me more then researching Retro Epcot! Such amazing attractions...Will we ever see something like them again....I will always wonder.

Undiscovered Future World used to go up stairs.

Reasoning guests are tired, not fans of stairs.
Thus everything was moved to the ground floor.

Same reasoning for Mouse Gear.... forgot what the old name was. "Emporium??"
