I'm right there with you with the obssessive thing! My husband and I took the children to WDW when they were small, had a fantastic time and I always wanted to go back while to him it was a box ticked - he enjoyed it but didn't want to go again.

When she grew up, my daughter and I had several lovely trips to DLP then decided in 2005 to have a 'lets do it and get it out of our systems' trip to WDW. Well, I'm sure you can guess what happened! Its now an annual trip to WDW with a short break at DLP to keep us going in between!! Various friends come along with us, getting hooked on the whole Disney thing too. Disney gives us so much pleasure, apart from the actual holidays, we spend hours looking forward to it, making plans etc.

Thank goodness for tolerant, kind husbands who don't really like holidays anyway!! :lookaroun

Where did you get the park music and tip of the day - to be able to play in your car? I only can listen on my computer at home from youtube -prspeppers, I am dying to get all this to play in my car!

I always buy the discs when i go to WDW

I have most of the disney discs of the last 9 years, Illuminations, Wishes, fantasmic!, mariachi corbre (mexico), off kilter (canada) the disneyworld band,
Yehaa Bob (riverside) and the piano player at casey's

Another complete WDW addict here! My commute is all WDW, from one of many CD's I've made of different loops, rides, bits, etc. I blather on endlessly about my upcoming trips with anyone that will still listen, including family members who make the mistake of calling. I am constantly fine tuning trip details, watching this site for any new tidbit of information and wishing I was close to someone who even remotely shared my love of WDW. Although my husband goes along with my yearly sabbatical, he is by no means a die hard fan and probably tires of my non-stop WDW life. Thank you to all of you who are here and share the dream that is Disney.

I'm with all of you. It's a little embarrassing because almost every conversation I have with someone I can find some reference to Disney to bring up. Everyone pokes fun at me. I'm so jealous of all of you who have upcoming trips this year. We just can't swing it financially this year, but I am planning for next year. :) I'm hooked on Martin's videos and of course the Picture of the Day. Thanks for the tips on recording Disney music onto CD's for the car. I will have to work on that.

I am constantly reminded of Disney.
Now when I giggle or smile my DH will say "Don't tell me ..... that reminds you of the smells in the Main Street Bakery! or the music in HM" :ROFLOL:

My theory is that the best things always stay with you

I too reference Disney in conversation all the time and usually get teased as a result. Yesterday I was all excited after finding out I will be able to see MSEP in Sept so I call my husband exclaiming "guess what!!!" and he immediately says "let me guess - its Disney related". He knows me too well.

I went hiking for two weeks this summer and whenever it got too difficult to keep going, I would think about my favorite rides and try to see if I could remember them from start to finish. Or sometimes I would see how many Disney songs I knew.

That's great! Our daughter is 4 and this will be her fourth trip and I think she knows as much about Disney as I!!! Maybe I will see you in Sept.!

September can't come fast enough! I'm enjoying summer and as usual will be sad when it ends, but I'm sooo ready for our trip to begin. 44 days to go!

Mousebits, I got I think all my disney music from them, the site at first seems complicated, but its really not and once its on your computer if you can, burn it on a disc...I also have used Limewire in the past, but then I found mousebits..They have stuff I would have never though of..I mean it is pretty cool when your driving around listening to Big Thunder mountain Area music loop.....But try Mousebits!LONG LIVE DIXIE LANDINGS!96,97 99 Dixielandings, 98 (never again off property) 01, 02,03,04, 05,06, all at POR. DVC as of 06 SSR 06, 07,DCL& WDW 4/08,Sept 08,Jan/09WL,Sept 09 SSR, Sept 2010 SSR.
I noticed your signature - yes, long live Dixie Landings!! I think that Port Orleans Riverside is a hidden gem and my favorite resort at Disney!! Stayed there 4 times and going back in September!! All the time you stayed there you appear to like it as well.

To quote DisGal from another thread," I'm in a constant Disney state of mind.", got me thinking about myself and my upcoming trip. I as well am in constant thought about being at Disney and it has gotten worst since the months pass and it gets closer to my arrival date. So much so that sometimes I wish I would just stop thinking about it because I just couldn't take it any more! Now... I am a stay at home mom and I have known to be a little "OCD" at
times:rolleyes: so my focus isn't as diverted if I was working and had to concentrate on other things.
Disney just keeps creeping into my head!

Does anyone else have this problem of Disney head explosion!

and yes I just realized I spelled FRAM wrong- frame- -- can't get in there to change it. Haven't had enough coffee.

I'm always in a Disney frame of mind too. I recently lost my job, and I often find myself on this site and other forum sites as well as Martin's video site and dtuneslive.com and uabmagic.com instead of looking for jobs. Don't get me wrong...I'll eventually get to the job search, but I get a lot less sleep because I'm constantly thinking about Disney.

Yeah it was and is such a favorite of ours...We had gone there for our honeymoon and was instantly hooked....Yeah people do complain that its a large resort but we loved it....the walk around , especially when the flowers are in bloom , its just beautiful! It really took me a while to warm up to Saratoga, just because i was so use to Port Orleans ( I mean we knew that resort like the back of our hand, so much so we noticed when they put in new shrubs!)....But for us moneywise when our DVC rep calculated how much money over the course of going to disney that we spent over the years, oh yeah made me a bit nausaus! But now that trees have grown in and its more lived in, I do enjoy Saratoga... But yes Port Orleans will always be high on my list and I always recommend it!

It to me really has it all at a moderate price.....Gotta tell you though among the many things i miss about that resort, Muddy Rivers (the bar outside use to make a drink called "Blue Moonshine".....All I can say is HAPPY!!!!

Ah and long live the Banana Stuffed french toast at Boatwrights.....May it Rest in Piece...Ok sorry (as i'm getting off my soapbox!)

I think I just am in need of my Disney fix!

You have to register on Mousebits.com then click the "torrents" link you'll see at the top to find the files.

If you use Firefox as a browser, you can also get this to download youtube files as mp3... they won't be a great quality, but it's simple to use.
