first thing i will say is sorry to the yankee fans if i offend you...now that i got that out...
WOOOOO!!!!! GO MARLINS!!! i am sooooo glad they beat the yankees, and in their HOME TURF! im sorry, but NO ONE had any respect for the marlins, everyone from the media to the yankees themselves (especially :fork: david wells...
) , and tonight they have proved that they deserve to be the WORLD CHAMPIONS BABY!!
I know the majority of the fans are fairweather (for the record, i'm not like that cuz our family is a marlins family), but thats the jerk wayne huizenga's fault for doing what he did after '97...however, the team this year worked hard and hopefully now they will get some respect cuz they beat the "best" and did so beautifully...GO MARLINS!

WOO-HOO! The Yankees lost! I'm so happy! (And so are the other millions of Red Sox nation)
Anyways, Marlins are good too. I was rooting for them not just because I hate the Yankees, but they're the hometown team and i've been following them since Dontrelle came in. I'll pick up my World Series champs gear and wear it with pride. But they will never become my favorite team, the Sox will always be. The Marlins are just #2.
