For any CM's or friends of characters out there. Is it difficult to get into workmode at Disney? I imagine that it's quite a shock to go from being able to wonder around the happiest place on earth doing what you want to having to follow very strict rules.
If you have any experience in theater, you'll understand. It becomes a switch. You turn it on and off.
It can make your head spin to be having a conversation with 'Martha'... "and so I traded with Jennifer so I could have tomorrow off"; to, two seconds later, having a conversation with 'Jasmine'..."and then I found Aladdin had been hanging out with the Genie and Carpet playing poker.... hello Princess, would you like to walk with me and have our picture taken?"
Same with running into a friend of a cast member you haven't seen in a while. You don't say to Cinderella on stage, "Carrie! I'm so happy to see you, I haven't seen you since you were Aurora in France." You say, "Cinderella, how have you been? It seems like ages since I saw you. How are you doing?"
Oddly, it is harder for merchandise and photo and attraction people to stay in character and play the part than it is for characters. It is virtually an impossible task to get the people at the entrance to Hall of Presidents to stop talking about the trouble they had getting their car fixed; or getting photographers to stop talking about how their break was x number of minutes overdue and they were out in the hot sun for this many minutes; or the merchandise people to stop speaking badly about their managers. It is easy to talk to Belle about France or Ariel about fish.
Well, Jack is well traveled I'm sure he and Ariel have crossed paths before and that hasty wedding to Eric always felt short lived to me. I'm sure eventually the priate and mermaid were bound to hook up.
Their kids will be cute...dreadlocks and tail are very in this year
LOL:lol:
