Concepts for DCA coming to WDW?

We have heard that LM may be coming to WDW but is that the only concept?

After looking at the concept art from the Blue Sky exhibit at DCA I have to say it appears the "Magic" is back in Glendale. The detail is amazing. I am impressed with all of it but especially the conversion of the Mailboomer to a parachute drop. It is so great looking with the iron work and "ballpark green" color scheme. Kudos to the Imagineers that designed it. A clone would sure look great at DTD or the Boardwalk.

Are there any rumors about some of these additions making their way to WDW besides LM?

I agree with you that the new offerings look absolutely fantastic. DCA looks to be an absolutely fabulous park in a few years.

Of note to me was the scale of the new Cars E ticket. It looks like Test Track with triple the outdoor track length, and amazing scenery.

If WDW gets any of that I will be happy. But I definitely want to get to Anaheim in around 4-5 years.

It looks like they are just retheming Jumpin' Jellyfish (look at the metal structure--it's identical) and buying a 3rd tower. Net effect--lose one ride. I don't know, the Paradise Pier retheme seems to be simply cosmetic to me. I'm more excited for changes outside of Paradise Pier. I don't really care if the ferris wheel has a sun on it or Mickey's head...

Ah, I see what you are saying. For me the cohesive theme is very important and something that gets overlooked too often. There is just something about the look of the new Paradise Pier that resonates with me. When WDW was first building the Boardwalk this is what I thought it would look like. The concept is nostalgic and very cohesive. Personally I don't think they could do better. That's not to say I am not impressed with the entirety of the rehab because I am. And rumor has it there is even more cool stuff on the way for DCA.

I've looked at several sources and the parachute drop is going where the Mailboomer is now (same footprint) and I have seen other drawings that indicate the Jellyfish are still there (with slight retheming) as they appear to be keeping those as a tie to the new LM ride. The more concept art I find the more impressed I am. Send those Imagineers to WDW. They deserve a parade!

I thought it was Little Mermaid, but I could be wrong :)

It is the Little Mermaid. Also, the parachute drop ride will not be in the same location as the jellyfish posted above.

I thought though, that TLM was put off along with the FL expansion?

I could see a simpler version of Carsland being put in at DHS where the Backlot Tour is now.

From what I read elsewhere, the new parachute ride that is replacing the Mailboomer is themed to the Green Army Men from Toy Story...it has nothing to do with the jelly-fish.

That is what I said a few months ago. I think it would be a cool land. There is a podcast called the big d. One of the episodes they show concept art and plans for california adventure. Such as the mullohand madness change and other things. Check it out!

The parachute drop is different from jumpin'jellyfish. Parachute is being looked at as a possible replacement for the Maliboomer which will be removed shortly. Jumpin Jellyfish is on the other side and from what I heard there is still some debate at Imagineering wether to remove the junk, possibly relocate it closer to the Little Mermaid, or leave it be (im assuming with some cosmetic changes).

Another concept being looked at for the pier is a highly themed flume ride. Although im having difficulty pictureing it myself.
