Trip Report (Completed)We tried to walk but you walk like a sloth.

Our family is heading back to WDW!

Top to bottom, left to right. Me, Hubby, Bear, Ninja, Jet and Handsome.

After a three year hiatus Paca and Grandma will be joining us again. We are all so excited!

I never thought I would purposely plan a Spring break trip however with swimming, soccer, hockey, school and work to work around. It was the best we could do.

I had sticker shock when we looked at room and decided to do a split stay so we could get standard rooms at each resort.

April 8-12 Contemporary-garden wing
April 12-15 Yachtsman- standard

We are looking forward to walking to Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary. That’s our favorite part of that resort. The kids are SOOOOO excited for Strormalong Bay!!! We wanted to stay the whole trip at Beach Club but we waited too long so 3 nights at the Yachtsman was our compromise for my little fish!

We made our way to Frontierland and jumped in line for Splash. This would be our last ride before the retheme so we made sure to soak it up. As a result I have very few pictures.

After splash it was time for the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness. Grandmas favorite!

We decided to take a break however we had two more stops first up Pirates.

And then no Magic Kingdom day is complete without a Dole Whip.

We went to the bus stop and had about a 45 minute wait for a bus. However it was worth it. We got to ride in a Minnie bus!

We spent about 3 hours at the resort swimming and packing up. At 6:00pm we headed back to the park. Since we had a successful morning we had no real agenda for the evening except soaking up our time at MK.

We decided to take a spin on the carousel.

We shopped and had some corn dogs for dinner while we waited for our time to check in for the dessert party. When the time arrived we went to the Tomorrowland Terrace and obtained our wristbands. Maybe we are picky but we were not impressed with the dessert selection. Everything was waxy or bland.

Our kids did enjoy the sparkling grape juice that made them feel fancy.

We waited for the signal that it was time to head to the hub. When they made the announcement we were ready to head out.

We really enjoyed the location for the fireworks. We wish you could just book this and skip the desserts! More family photo shoot. We are old and cringey according to our kids since we still use portrait mode.

The show started and we were all really enjoying our evening. About 10 minutes into the show the heavens opened up to the hardest downpour I have ever been in. We struggled to quickly get on our ponchos. It was an absolute mad house with everyone pushing to get out of the park. We were wading through about 4 inches of water. Paca was pushing Grandma in her wheelchair it was pure pandemonium. Somehow Jet and I got separated from everyone else. We made our way to the train station and Jet and I were stuck. The crowds weren’t moving. People were pushing and I was honest to god nervous since I didn’t know where my other kids were in that mess.

Hubby called and confirmed he had the other kids and the Grandparents. They made it to the bus stop already. I told them to go ahead back to the resort and we would meet them there.

20 minutes later Jet and I finally made it out of the park. Hubby and Bear were waiting on us. My handsome Hubby didn’t like leaving us behind. We always take a sad face picture when leaving but with the chaos we didn’t get to. So here is our very sad attempt.

Saturday April 15 DHS and departure day

I let the kids sleep in while we packed up what we could. Woke them up and finished packing. We were sad to say goodbye to our room. The Yacht Club had been good to us. One more Easter egg before we said our goodbyes.

Not sure why but all these hotel pics were blurry so we will just post this one.
Our flight wasn’t until the evening so we had a few hours at DHS. Our first ride was MMRR. Handsone lost a tooth during the ride.

After this we decided to ride RNR. My kids love to sneak pictures of Hubby and I.

When we walked over we discovered both TOT and RNR were down.

We decided to visit TSL since everything else was down. Someone was mad his sister stole his beloved red blaster.

We decided the last ride of the trip would be SDD.

It was time for our lunch ADR at Mama Melrose. We all order the exact same thing every time we come. Cheers @TrolleyFollower91

Everything was good and service was great!

It was time to say goodbye to DHS. Paca and Grandma had a later flight so we also say goodbye to them with a lot of tears. We are 6 hours apart so goodbyes are exceptionally hard for the kiddos.

Our flight back to the resort.

We all slept on the flight home. Picked up our dog and had early bedtimes.

Out trip was amazing probably the best to date. I think I say that after each one!

Our next trip will be our twins 10th birthday extravaganza. We are taking sail on the Disney Wish March 24-March 27 with just the 4 of us, then the 4 of us will spend 2 days at Universal Studios. March 29th-April 2 Paca, Grandma, Jet, Handsome and for the first time ever Nana and Pawpaw. My parents are finally joining in the fun. We are trying to convert them to Disney people. If Magicians will be at WDW please say hi!

You guys really got your money's worth out of Hollywood Studios! It's amazing how much that park has changed in only a few years.

When is your next trip? If I beat you I will try to find a few more. We are almost 60 days out so I am making some decision now and crossing my fingers that I can come through on the ADR’s. Shorter trips tend to work against me.

3 out of 4 of us are very excited for the cruise. Hubby did not want to go but he will do anything when those girls bat their eyelashes at him!
