Trip Report (Completed)We tried to walk but you walk like a sloth.

Our family is heading back to WDW!

Top to bottom, left to right. Me, Hubby, Bear, Ninja, Jet and Handsome.

After a three year hiatus Paca and Grandma will be joining us again. We are all so excited!

I never thought I would purposely plan a Spring break trip however with swimming, soccer, hockey, school and work to work around. It was the best we could do.

I had sticker shock when we looked at room and decided to do a split stay so we could get standard rooms at each resort.

April 8-12 Contemporary-garden wing
April 12-15 Yachtsman- standard

We are looking forward to walking to Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary. That’s our favorite part of that resort. The kids are SOOOOO excited for Strormalong Bay!!! We wanted to stay the whole trip at Beach Club but we waited too long so 3 nights at the Yachtsman was our compromise for my little fish!

Sorry for the very long delay. I thought about bailing but I’m not quitter! I’ll finish before 2023!

Rest day over it was time to get back to the parks!

Thursday April 13- HS

Someone was hangry that we left the room before eating breakfast.

Our plan was to rope drop ROTR with all the other crazies. Well that plan failed when we jumped in line and they said it was down and not sure when it would be up. Plan B photos in front of the Falcon since the area was dead.

MMRR was still showing short waits and Bear adores it so Batuu would wait.

Always the funny guy behind me.

I just love the expressions of that sun.

Handsome let us know he couldn’t wait any longer for sustenance. So sugar time it was!

Sugared up we were ready to take on Toy Story Land. SDD was first!

We made our way over to RNR . We were hustling this morning and making good time.

Hubby and I were getting into the picture fun this morning.

We had accomplished our goals for the morning so decided to head out at 11:00. We decided to stop for another photo opp.

The kids were excited when our cabin showed up with Yandu on the side!

We spent an hour in the quiet pool and purchased our ornament from the gift shop. Then it was time for our lunch reservation. We didn’t have far to go. Beaches and Cream has become a must do for our family.

We are all pretty boring burger eaters here.

One this about Beaches and Cream is that we all clean out plates!

And with Paca’s help this time we even cleaned the sink!

After our sink we waddled over to look at the Easter eggs some more. Here are a few of our favorites.

Kiss the girls is probably my favorite scene in all Disney movies.

It was time to head back to the park. We had a date with GE. First up Olga’s. We needed to wash down all that ice cream!

We had purchased an ILL in the morning for ROTR and it was finally time to redeem it!

Jet was still preparing for her Frozen musical at this point so she requested the Frozen singalong next.

I still get teary eyed when my kids sing along and the snope falls.

We ate Disney Chicken Nuggs at one of the quickserves for dinner but I can’t remember which one. Sorry it’s been 8 months. After dinner we went back to Toystory Land. Our kids were willing to standby SDD. So we hoped in line. It actually ended up being about a 50 minute wait.

The lights were on and we love this area at night.

TOT had been down in the morning so we had been eying wait times on evening and it was time to strike. We waited about 45 minutes.

We were starting to run out of steam but decided we had one more ride in us. RNR had a 20 minute wait so that’s where we went. The girls were so excited that their names were on the screens.

We decided it was time to head out.

It was a beautiful evening on our stroll back. It had been a fantastic day.

Friday April 15 - Magic Kingdom

We ate breakfast in the room. We were down to scraps since this was our last full day but we pieced a meal together. The bus was slow but not an issue. When we arrived the Pluto bus was idling so my Pluto loving Bear needed a picture.

I was tired of spending money on ILL so we were rope dropping Mine train with the rest of humanity.

We decided to hit another Fantasyland favorite. We can’t fit in one cup anymore.

After Dumbo we decided to head back out to the Hub before the park got too busy. We wanted a castle pic with everyone so we waited for a PPP to come available.

Our kids have made such special memories over the years with their Grandparents. We truly appreciate each trip we share with them.

Photo shoot over it was time to hit up Tomorrowland.

These two were determined to be galactic hero’s in their shirts.

We had an 11:00am lunch reservation at Cinderellas Royal Table so we had a few minutes to spare. We watched a bit of the parade. We lucked out with a decent view without staking out a spot.

It was then time to check in. We were seated immediately.

The food was good but without the Princesses the meal felt a little flat. We won’t go back until they return. A picture of the stain glass for my Cinderella loving Bear.
