Trip Report **COMPLETED** Our HalloChristmas Adventure

Hey everyone - since I finally finished my other trip report I will get to this super delayed one :)

Who?
The usuals: my Mom (Mary) and myself (Megan) PLUS special guest --- my Dad (Jeff)!

Where?
The Yacht Club! We actually changed from the Beach Club last minute and I was so excited. We love the Yacht Club way more for some reason and we were excited to share that love with my Dad.

When?
October 29 - November 6, 2021

Why?
My Dad has not been to Disney since pre-COVID so we planned this trip forever ago to bring him back! He does not do well in the heat so we chose a cooler time of year (aka not our July trip) for him :)

Day 1 October 29, 2021
I got up at 3 am, got ready and waited for my parents to pick me up at 4 am. 😴
Our airport drive and check-in/TSA experience went super fast. We grabbed some bagels for breakfast.

We boarded our plane and left on time! How unusual :joyfull:

Day 4 November 1, 2021
We got up around 6:00 am, got ready and we were at the bus stop by 6:45 am. A bus came at 6:50 - perfect! We were the only ones on it!

They opened up a few minutes before EMH started which was nice.
We headed right towards Flight of Passage

We were in line behind 1-2 people and then all of a sudden that group multiplied by a bunch. Like one person literally held the place for (without exaggeration) 20 people. It was so annoying !!

Navi River Journey was up next since there was no wait for that either!

We headed towards the back of the park to go on the Safari next. But....we walked by Starbucks and it was dead inside so why pass it up? :hilarious:

I have a ton of giraffe photos! We were stuck here for awhile because they were legitimately running around playing with each other. It was so cute to see!

We decided to go to the Gorilla Falls trail next

Our next goal was Everest but it was actually down so we decided to head towards Dinoland.
We stopped for some Photo Pass pictures first.

We ate at 50's PrimeTime Cafe in December for the first time in many years and had the best meal and server! I can't get over how much you got done so far getting to AK so early in the morning!!!

Late to the party! Your mom and dad look like such fun traveling companions! Your reports always make me smile!

Do you recall when the fall comes down and the Christmas goes up? We are shooting for first 2 weeks of Nov and hoping we can still see a tiny bit of fall décor.

Aww thank you! The MK is a quick turn around usually Oct 31/Nov 1 -ish the stuff is up. The rest of the parks take a bit longer

We went on Triceratop Spin next which was also a walk on (as it normally is).

We mobile ordered lunch at Pizzafari so we headed over there. Of course it was ready before I was over there so I sprinted in past a CM asking who we were. :p When I got to the window to pick up our food a manager CM came out and told us we were family of the day! I was kind of confused and kept calling to my parents to come over because they were not paying attention and were looking for a table. We got to sit in our own area, they gave us these pins, they brought our food to us/picked it up, took our photo and we got free cupcakes! It was so cute. However, we were in hysterics the whole time because my Mom and I were thinking they probably picked us thinking we were kids since we ordered 2 kids meals :hilarious::hilarious: In reality it was probably just because we mobile ordered at like 6:30 am.

When we passed by It's Tough to Be a Bug on our way out my Dad wanted to see It so we stopped in.

I forgot how much I hate that show :hilarious:
We did everything in AK except for the Lion King show but that was not happening for 45 minutes or so so we decided to head out. We had a great day and barely waited for anything.
We finally took my Dad to the main pool this day :)
