Tuna Tom once lectured me for several minutes (while I was working) about why Cast Members now aren't what they used to be, and how horrible of a place Disney World is becoming because of us.
It's one thing to be colorful, but another to be downright insulting!:fork:
Okay I asked the initial question months ago, now I have to ask, who is Tuna Tom and what does he look like?
That made me laugh! You really made my day. Wow, I wonder what his beard thinks of his elaborate costumes.
Just got back from the World and was lucky enough to see Linda Skywalker.Aladdin was her prey that day..first person in the meet and greet line ..she walked up with a small floral suitcase and proceeded to show Al what was in it...seems she traveled with some canned goods that day along with many other odd things. She took her picture sat on the bench and stared at Al and clearly got upset when he hugged people...my 10 yr old DD included....strange lady

Can someone elaborate on "doll lady?" We were at Grand Floridian last month and I saw this old lady sitting on a couch on the 2nd floor. Think she had a doll sitting on the couch next to her, and both seemed to be pretty dressed up. Is this the lady?
The doll lady is harmless. Her husband use to work for Disney before he passed. I believe he was a member of the orchestra she comes most evenings to listen to the orchestra and sits in a chair over to the side on the first floor. She never bothers anyone the staff like her and always seem To stop and talk with her. She use to give her teddy bears away to kids but has since stopped. The doll lady I rrefer to in the orginial post sat in the lobby of the Grand Floridian on one of the couches with a number of dolls around her. She might have scaled back the dolls moved her location or was asked to scale back and move but I'm not sure.
I know there have been other guests in the past make costumes themed to shows and then have worn them to the parks. I think one girl dressed in a similar costume to the bird performer at Festival of the Lion King and there have been guests who dressed in the trolley costumes as well. It does happen from time to time.
