All right...I'll take the bait...

Who is Linda Skywalker? (and please don't say Luke's sister!)

Reva !!

I'd like to know too! :)
She is a woman that actually legally changed her name to Linda Amidala Skywalker. She is this rather unique individual that can be seen ever second of every day during SWW at DHS. She will usually be in some kind of incomplete Star Wars costume caring a Master Replicas light saber. She is quite fanatical, even for a SW fan, about getting to every show, meet n greet etc. Seeing her in action is quite comical, talking to her is a bit on the scary side. I can not put my finger on one particular thing but there is something just not right with her. She has also been know to wear a cheerleader outfit and dance along with the CM's during High School musical at DHS.

Here is a video of her in action.

Linda Skywalker appears to be the prime example of impaired mental health with inadequate medication. Making people uncomfortable, without really pinning down why, is one way to know that someone has a serious underlying mental health issue. In my profession, such people are often brought into the court system, even though the majority are generally harmless.

Oh well, be polite, smile, but don't encourage too much. I am sure the soap opera weekends brought out a few fans who were just a bit too rabid too. But dancing along in full cheerleader regalia is seriously over the top for someone of her age (i.e., older than 10 years old). People like that are often very lonely, and I sure hope she finds peace and acceptance somehow.

By the way, I have known people to change their names to Elvis Presley and Jesse James. Both were openly diagnosed as schizophrenic, but never hurt anyone, although they were very irritating.

You hit the nail on the head. I have seen plenty of rabid fans in my life and I would not really classify her as that. Someone just seeing her once could easily mistake her for one but once you have seen her act over and over again you can tell that there is something else going on with her.

I've never really seen any "colorful characters" at WDW, except for one guy who was walking around Tomorrowland in a kilt.

Okay, I take that back. In 1989 I went to EPCOT with some members of my family, including a great-uncle. He wore a Hawaiian shirt so loud you could close your eyes and still see it, red shorts, and red knee socks. Even though everyone else those days was wearing day-glo neon colors, he stood out. I'm not making fun of my uncle; he's a great guy. He just dresses like a cross between Jimmy Buffett and the Kool-Aid man.

I understand. They were all the rage, even at EPCOT:

OMG! Thanks for the link, Richard! That is too stinkin' funny!

The little girl in yellow is the best. She captures the essence of the moment so well:

"What the @#$?...is that lady...oh no she didn't...uuhhh...don't look!...but Holy cow...don't look!...Dad, look at that lady...What is she doing???...Wow...Just wow..."

And the dad was trying not to look or laugh but I spotted his moment of OMG. It's just too funny. How do the CM's not get so distracted they mess up or avoid just letting out the belly-laugh???

This isn't the same lady who said ToT was her physical therapy, is it?

Ill pack my kilt.................................. but there may be some sagging.

No no. I want thoooose guys in the picture. But if a kilt were to fly north in my presence I would look, sagging or not. Just bein' honest.... :goodnevil
