That is my biggest hope too, that they will fix the blurriness when they add to the movie. I went in Feb 2019 and it was so blurry that I had to take my glasses off because it was making me motion sick. And I'm someone who can ride the intense side of Mission: Space without trouble, so I don't tend towards motion sickness.Hoping it's a full refurb to the show. Updated animation/3D so it all matches the new scene. The show has been a bit blurry in recent years, needs some TLC.
Disney Planes is a ToonDisney Animated film but, it has the look of Pixar like these characters for example...But, it's technically Disney animation..Interesting choice. I love Coco... easily one of the best Pixar films but I wish they wouldn’t mix Pixar and classic Disney. To me, Philharmagic should be all Disney Feature Animation.
But it’s nice to see an update / addition to Philharmagic and again... coco is a great property so I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.
Not to mention: Disney Animation has switched to Pixar CGI in the more current movies. And the classic animated characters in PhilharMagic were recast as CGI, making them "look" Pixaresque.Disney Planes is a ToonDisney Animated film but, it has the look of Pixar like these characters for example...But, it's technically Disney animation..
It’s not Disney Feature Animation though. Of course Home on the Range was...Disney Planes is a ToonDisney Animated film but, it has the look of Pixar like these characters for example...But, it's technically Disney animation..
I’m hoping this follows Lion King and transitions into Peter Pan, giving them the opportunity to finally fix the Big Ben clock error (the hour hand’s direction is nonsense).
Not appropriate for 9 pm or 9:15 pm…
Glad someone took my advice! Did they fix the clock? With the debut in DLP today, that is reportedly where the new Coco scene was added.
10/1 like everything else newDo we know a date yet for when this will start in WDW?
New behind the scenes video released -
Pretty sure they don’t want to spend the money on that. Hell, they barely spent money on the current iteration.
Why do I hear dead Frida Kahlo from the films voice when reading this post?Coco is perfect for PhilharMagic in genre, its music can be best described as at the center of a three way venn diagram between levitating bedroom balladry, unkempt psychadelic grunge, and uptempo pop-rock, although perhaps more instrumental to its musics success than the production is the lyrics and themes. It sings with honesty, specificity, and humor, conveying the abstract pangs of angst and heartbreak as a vivid image of the rebellion and sadness of youth.
I think it’s dead now, especially with the pavilion’s queue space compared to how popular a Coco attraction would be.Coco replacing GFT was very close to happening before Covid. Not sure where it stands anymore.
