Where is the source material that leads to this speculation? I understand the email was given in the first page, but was there something that tipped you off regarding this topic?

They have the space. They've had it planned for a while.

Is it coming? Yes.

Will it be probably just lounges to begin with? More than likely.

See that would be disappointing. I just don't understand why not start "big"? You know the model works because of DLR, why not make your first impression of the WDW version overwhelming instead of just meh....

Something tells me this will just be an expensive lounge that will be priced so the bloggers can afford to join and tweet about how wonderful it is.

Here's my rumor tracker:

April 13, 2017: WDWMagic.com is reporting that Disney is once again considering a Club 33 equivalent for Walt Disney World. The site is reporting that each park would have it's own restaurant with an expected opening date of Fall 2017.

October 15, 2016: On Episode 112 of the Unofficial Guide's Disney Dish Podcast with Jim Hill, Jim mentioned the possibility of exclusive dining coming to all four Walt Disney World theme parks as well as Disney Springs.

July 21, 2015: WDWMagic.com user WDW1974 has reported that a version of Club 33 is likely for Walt Disney World, but he did not think it would be located in the Magic Kingdom.

Do they take Disney Visa? If so, where do I sign up. Also, if the lounge at DAK isn't in the top of the tree then, I'm out.

I don't know that the bloggers will be able to afford it, but certainly I won't be surprised if they all get to preview it and fawn over it on all social media outlets. Free publicity is always on WDW's executives minds.

Would be cool if they had this planned during the development of Pandora and were able to build somewhere nice in that area during the construction... really cool if the DAK lounge was inside one of the floating mountains (but yeah, I'm 99.99% sure that didn't happen). Did they possibly build some "extra" space when they built Tiffins? The back deck there is one of the most relaxing areas in the park (and that's saying something for a park that has a lot of "relaxing" areas!) Some of the buildings proposed as "show booth" building for Rivers of Light seem rather large for just show equipment... (again, doubtful of that one too)

There is a private dining room in Tiffins.

Wondering if Starring Rolls is part of this.

Relatively easy access to the kitchens at the Brown Derby. Makes sense financially to avoid building a whole new kitchen, but it doesn't seem like a big enough area. Even if they enclose the court yard seating out front seems like maybe 40 people at a time? Maybe they could take over the bamboo room (or whatever the function room is called) as well?

Oh I agree they won't be able to afford it, but something tells me they will allow them access which in return cheapens the experience. When you think about it most of these bloggers can't afford half of the experiences they get to attend.

Spread across 4 parks, I wonder how much capacity per location they are aiming for. I also wouldn't expect full restaurants in each park, perhaps one, with the rest being lounges.

This is disappointing.

"Disneyland is your land."

The club at Disneyland is a relic of the 1950/60s business mentality. Over time, and Charles Ridgeway noted this, people changed. The park is for everyone. Every part should be accessible to everyone. A "Club" is all about exclusion. A Disney vacation was different because they didn't look at your background, you were a guest. In many ways, you were home.

Disappointing, but unsurprising. Iger needs a place to escape the masses.
