Hi new thread and friends I haven't chatted with in a while!

Jo, Steph and Nicole - I love the photos of the trip! Thanks for sharing them. I'm so glad you guys had a great time!

Fishy - Glad you're back! I've missed you. :wave:

Short summary of my conference:
My boss and I went to Memphis for a marketing conference. The television commercials she and I wrote (and a production company produced) won the state award for best television ad, series! :sohappy: I listened to some great live music on Beale Street. I visited the Stax museum where big names like Otis Redding ("Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" has always been one of my favorite songs!) recorded most of their stuff. It was a good trip all-around.


I'm working on deadline today, so I probably won't be around too much (at least I shouldn't be...:lookaroun)


For those of you who pray... there's been a lot of talk about possible gang violence at the local high school today. Last week two members of one gang shot two members of another gang; and a retaliation is supposedly planned for today. If you wouldn't mind, please say a prayer for our local youth. :o I'm sure nothing will happen at the school today. They already have the TBI and state and county police at the school. But, you never know.
