On the carousel, there is a horse that is Cinderella's (sorry if you already knew this) It is on the second row from the outside and it has purple flowers on it. The thing that makes it easiest to notice is that it has a golden ribbon tied around its tail. Also, the horse right beside it (on the outside) is #1.

I was so excited when I was at WDW that I got to ride Cinderella's Horse! I made my poor sister climb up on the horse next to it and she ended up hurting her knee climbing down! Oh well! :)

Sorry to bump, but I had to respond. We actually didn't know about this until we got off the train in Orlando, and a fellow traveller there took an interest in our party and told us about the horse. What a great tip...I started a thread about my daughter getting to ride the horse, it was such a great experience and we are grateful to the CM who made it happen (and of course to the gentleman who told us about it in the first place).

I remember on my very first trip to Disney World on my first day at the Magic Kingdom and on my very first ride... I was waiting in line, and before I was about to get on the ride, the Cast Memeber held me back and told me I'd be the first to get on. As the CM was about to push the button that makes the bell go off, he then saw me and asked if I'd like to push the button. I agreed and did so. While I waited, he leaned towards me and said, "Ya know which one's Cinderella's horse?" My facelit up and I shook my head, and he told me that the one with the golden ribbon was Cinderella's. I pushed the button again to let the people to know to get off of the ride, and right infront of me was Cinderella's horse!

One of my most favorite memories. ;)

This was actually the reason we bought Pal Mickey when it was first offered. On the box it said "Find Cinderella's Horse" He never did tell me which horse was Cinderella's. We eventually found a cast member that knew.

Don't forget that Walt Disney's wife had a favorite horse too. But the Carosel came from Olympic Park NJ, and was saved from the scrap heap by Walt Disney.

Last year my daughter (2) was asked if she wanted to be a princess today. she quickly said no. I tried and tried to get her to say yes, but she would not have any of it.

The little girl behind us accepted the honor. She was moved to the front of the line and before boarding they made an announcement that a princess will be riding on Cinderella's horse. They gave her a crown and a certificate. After they ride, her "court" ushered her off the ride while proclaiming "make way for the princess". Considering that she was being led by a CM, I imagine something else happened.

I was sad that I didn't get to ride on Cinderella's horse when I was last a WDW. I couldn't for the life of me remember which one it was. :brick:I remembered this post, just not the details. lol.

This thread is hilarious, the way it just pops up every so often with a new comment and then goes to sleep for a few more months. 16 posts in 3 years for an ongoing discussion. Love it.
