Cinderella sightings

My daughter, who is almost 2, has recently became obsessed with Cinderella. We are taking a trip next month and since she talks non stop about Cinderella I have moved some of our ADR's around so that we could eat at the Princess meal in Norway (no way I was getting into Cinderealla's castle this late in the game). My concern is that I read that Cinderella may or not be there, which is ok, my daughter loves the other princess's also but I would love for her to see Cinderella. Are there any other places that she may be where we can see her?

From what I have heard Cinderella is not in Norway , but she can be found in toontown in the judges tent and 1900 park fare in the grand floridian...Also even though its close I would still try every day to get into cindy's , you never know when someone might cancel. Last feb we were on our last day of our vacation leaving the Magic Kingdom and oneof the Dream Squad members asked our girls , who are 4 and 7 if they would like to go meet Cinderella. Well our girls of course said yes, I started filling up , and then we were escorted to a private room with just us and cinderella, my little one kept hugging her and kept saying"I don't want to let go"......So priceless and we it all on video and film....But kep trying you never know....I'll keep my fingers crossed for you...Cindy is my favorite as well!!!

I know you don't think you can get into Cinderella's Royal Table, but I think you should try! My husband & I got reservations a month before our honeymoon with no problem. There are always cancellations, you can get lucky with that. If they don't have anything today, call again another day.

She will most certainly be there - you get your picture with her before you get seated at your table, and they bring the picture over to you before you're done eating. It comes as part of your meal. Give it a shot, you never know :)

Your best bet might be to try 1900 Park Fare. My daughter loved it. She would get to meet Prince Charming, the step sisters and step mother, too.

We ate at Akershus for lunch in 11/06 and I was surprised to see Cinderella there. So, keep your fingers crossed - she does appear there. Other than the character meals and the Judges Tent, I've never seen her out and about in the parks.

BTW, we saw more princesses at Akershus than at CRT (it was nice to see Mary Poppins, but since when is she a princess?). And as far as interaction, I think there's more at the Judges Tent - especially if you get there when it opens (Toon Town usually opens at 10). Then they're not rushing you thru to keep the line moving.

One year when we arrived at Magic Kingdom I went to guest services and told them how much my daughter loved Peter Pan, and if there was anyway she could meet him besides the normal meet and greet. I had a message on my resort phone of when a good time and place was that Peter Pan could come see her, It was great! Worth a shot with Cinderella.

We had dinner in Norway in 2005 and Cindy was there. We also had to change our reservations at the castle and they got us in before we had to catch our plane. Keep trying and make sure you dress her like a princess before you go to the dinner also!

I am sitting at my desk at work now with tears in my eyes. That picture tells the whole story, you can tell that even Cindy is moved by your little girl.

My niece had the same reaction when she met her favorite, Winnie the Pooh, at the age of 16 mos. There wasn't a dry eye at the table.

I took my daughter to Akershus in Norway December 2007 and Cinderella was most definirely there! You may also try 1900 Park Fare for dinner. It is themed as Cinderella's Royal Gala Feast. She will be there as well as Prince Charming and the Tremaine sisters. IMO, 1900 Park Fare dinner had the best food of ALL the buffets!

Keep trying for CRT, and remember dinner reservations are much easier to get than breakfast.

Dinner does not have Cinderella scheduled to meet and greet in the restuarant. The Fairy God Mother and mice will be in the restuarant at dinner. At dinner Cinderella will only be in the lobby for pics. Breakfast and Lunch has the princesses scheduled to work the room while you eat.

Cinderelly was there 2 weeks ago... it was a late dinner but it was Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine... I also have seen Cinderella and the Ugly Stepsisters at ParK Fare at night--complete with Prince Charming...

It is hit and miss as to whether or not Cinderella will be at Akershus for any of the meals. She is definitely at the meals for breakfast and lunch at CRT and in the lobby for dinner. She, along with Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and the wicked stepsisters, are at 1900 Park Fare for dinner only.

Another good way to get to see Cinderella with little hassle is to be at the entrance to Toontown (take the train around to the Toontown station) at or just before rope drop which is at 10am and head directly for the judge's tent. My friend and I did this in October (I love Cinderella and she adores Belle) and we waited maybe 10 minutes max to see the princesses. Cinderella, Belle and Aurora (sleeping beauty) share a room together.

Cinderella, Snow White (sometimes Belle) and Aurora do share a room ... but it is not in the Judges Tent in Toontown ... that is where Mickey Mouse can be found ... I would hate for you to go to the Judges Tent and wait in line to see the Princesses only to find out at the end that it is Mickey ... not to dis Mickey by any means, he is the man (uh,mouse) and you def should go there and see him!

The Princesses, however, are at the Toontown Hall of Fame Tent inside County Bounty in Toontown (the store between Minnie's house and Mickey's house).
It is listed on the MK map, #33 in Toontown, with a Mickey hand noting it is a Character Meet-n-Greet area, and is listed as "Meet Disney Princesses and Characters."

** I would def suggest going there for a sure way to meet Cinderella, with the bonus of Snow White, Belle, or Aurora (Snow White and Belle take turns...we have only ever got to meet SW never Belle).
The very best time to go is during the last parade and fireworks. Toontown is practically empty then, as everyone is either trying to get in 1 last ride, catch that last parade and Wishes, or heading out to get to the TTC or buses before the crowd.
This was where we found Cinderella for our DD on our trip in 2002. We were there just to go through the line like everyone else and meet the Princesses. But to our surprise there was no line, only a CM at the end and the ropes closed off...we were so disappointed and thought that they had closed up already for the night. The CM confirmed it and said he would just let us walk on through to the end to exit...then to our surprise, he suddenly said to our DD, "Would you like to meet a Princess, Princess?" (she wore her little plastic crown everywhere that trip - she was 5), All of a sudden we went around a corner and there SHE was...Cinderella herself! You should have seen my DH and myself scrambbling for the camera and video. My daughter had a private audiance with Cinderella, autographs, pictures and some private time to talk...And the best part...it wasn't just Cinderella...ALL of the characters were there! So my DS got to see and get autographs also. We met: Minnie, Pluto, Pooh, Tigger, and Perla and Suzy (Cinderella's mice friends).
It was a magical moment... only at Disney!
After our visit with the Characters, which was quite long, we were not rushed at all, we were lead outside by the CM who asked us to wait in the courtyard in front of the store and shortly after all the characters came out and greeted us again and danced around with my DD and DS and then had a MnG with the other children that were there.

Thanks everyone for all the advice! I thought about switching my ADR's around and try to get into the castle for dinner but the 2 days we are going to MK we are eating at the Crystal Palace one night and then on our final day there we are eating at Chef Mickeys. I guess I'll just be crossing my fingers that we luck out and see Cinderella either at Akershus (sp?) or in Toontown. Even if we don't see her my daughter will still love seeing the other princess's.

I can't recommend the character dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the GF enough.

It's Cinderella, the Prince, Lady Tremaine, and Drizella and Anastatia.
My dd (3yo) got to dance with the Prince, and the step-sister are hysterical.

I would also recommend going for an early dinner. The characters actually came around to our table twice because the place was not very crowded.
