My mom acts the same way Tigsmom. In Pennsylvania, you can get your permit when you turn 16.. or I've even heard you can get it two weeks before you turn 16. I really wanted it. But, my mom wont let me get it till I'm 17. And then, when I do get it, I have to keep it for a year! I dont mind getting it when Im 17, but the waiting a year thing? Noooo! I'll see if I can presuade her to change her mind. Im good at that. :lol:

But really, I guess I am kinda happy I am not driving now, its really scary out there! Whenever I am driving with my friends Im always afriad we are gonna hit someone cus of how fast they drive. When I drive, I will NOT drive fast. Ill be going like 35 mph. lol.

Note to LilMermaid - Your mom will give in eventually.. they all do.
