We're going to go with Tiki's idea of breaking down the sections and allowing everyone some input.

Adventureland (Red) - Jungle perils
Frontierland (Blue) - Sleepy Hollow/Classic Halloween stories
Fantasyland (Yellow) - Disney Villains
Tomorrowland (Purple) - Aliens/SciFi

Please think about which section you would prefer to write the story for and post in this thread. Again, ideally we'll have 2 people for each section. If you're interested in multiple sections, please say so, that way we can have each covered.

The trick is going to be utilizing the space we have and using special effects to make it work. Please consider that live people and a moving train = trouble.

There will need to be an intro and conclusion to each section and the Yellow and Purple will need a transition. I was thinking Villains take over, Heros help out and things calm down just before the purple section.

If we can, lets try to get the basics together by Friday night so we can edit on Saturday.

Anyone want to try their hand at images? I was thinking a classic attraction poster would be cool.

Ok, but im not surely sure what I have to do can you tell me sorry?? I know it's the scifi part do you want me to write the script or draw?? Please help me im confused!!

Can you help with some ideas for that area? We can brainstorm together and come up with a working story/script.

Here's my villains story:

After the events that took place during Mickey's nightmare, the Disney heroes banished them to the area outside the Magic Kingdom's berm. This strip of land was known as the Shadowlands. They were unable to cross a magical line set up by Yensid himself. Fortunately, before he could be captured, Dr. Facilier, the newest Disney villain, liberated the villains from their imprisonment. His magic was no match for Yensid's, but he made a deal with his "friends on the other side" to temporarily disable it. Now, the villains wreak havoc in the back area of the Magic Kingdom, near Toontown and Fantasyland. They would go deeper into the parks, but they know they're no match for Mickey and friends. They are working in conjunction with the other "scary things" going on in the Magic Kingdom's outskirts. Unfortunately, Dr. Facilier's deals never seem to follow through, so the magical block will most likely wear off after the Halloween Season.

It's a ton of info, so just pick and choose the good stuff.

FutureImageneer and I am working on Tomorrowland. Can you help circ on the Frontierland stuff? Shoot her a PM and see where she's at and where you might be able to help. This should definitely not be like HHN. Thanks!

If anyone else has anything ready to go feel free to post it tonight. Future and I PMed back and forth, but haven't been able to touch base just yet. We should be able to get our section up tonight or tomorrow morning. Once we get them up we can put them together with Fig's section and start editing.

Does anyone have an eye for Special Effects that can help with suggestions as we go along?

Alright, sorry folks, we had some issues with the internet out here. But we thought that the guy (an actual CM) from Sleepy Hallow (sorry, I can't remember the name, I'm kind of sick.) could be riding off in the woods, looking all menacing. Not right next to the train, because that would ruin the effect, but somewhere fairly towards the edge of the woods, so that he is easily noticable. That could be somewhere in the middle-endish part, and closer to the beginning could be a pack of wolves howling and visible off in the distance. (Maybe they could be running behind the train, but I'm not sure how that could be accomplished... ideas anyone?) I think pluto was going to take care of any "extra umph" that was needed to spice up the ride in between.

thanks circ! we'll see what pluto has to tie it together

i sent futureimageneer some ideas tonight and we should have it wrapped up in the morning

Tiki's working on the Adventureland stuff, which I'm sure will be awesome.

with Mathew's much more important family stuff going on I'm going to continue on and get things together tomorrow unless he says otherwise

as soon as we have everything up, we can edit the rest of the day and submit whenever ready

i'll be around most of the day if there's anything i can help on with other sections
