I think you'd like the Mitford series. Something you can relate to as the preacher's wife. And the author is unafraid to quote Scripture and have characters who try to live by Scripture. She also deals with every human weakness...not afraid to show addict characters, etc. Good stuff.

it was like a 2 inches long tiny mouse that absolutely scared the life out of me and I freaked out worse than if someone broke into my apartment... i LOST it...
We have it set to TiVo.Oh and Kat, that wasn't one of my favorite episodes of HIMYM either...but the rest are all pretty good.

Well, the show's ok when it doesn't have a plot...but it is mostly a plot driven show, yes.
Good to know I'm not alone in my thoughts of the last episode.
