Speaking of cake... I remember seeing pics of how you're planning to have your cake decorated... but what flavor/s are you getting? Are you going to have a grooms cake?

I LOVE spice cake. We always do ours with chocolate icing though. And it is a perfectly acceptable breakfast! In fact, i wish I had some.

This is her third tooth, so she got $2. Her first tooth she got $5. I would give 5 every time but my co-Tooth Fairy is a little more...um...CHEAP than I am. I mean, when I was a kid (back at the dawn of time) we got a buck a tooth. Which was a lot in those days, and really made up for the fact that we had to walk to school barefoot in the snow uphill both ways.

How's it going with the listing? Any showings?

Wow! $5! I got a silver dollar everytime I lost a tooth. But by the time lost my last tooth, I asked for my saved tooth "loot," and found only 6 silver dollars. I think my parents re-used them...:lookaroun

Unfortunately... nothing on the house really. :( A neighbor called our real estate agent to get more info for a friend, but no showing yet. :( DH tells me not to worry, and I wouldn't say I'm "worrying" I'm just a little let down. Our agent will have the fliers ready today and put them out by the for sale sign. Hopefully that will help.

Houses in our price range in our area really haven't had THAT bad of a time selling. And, I really think we're below what we really COULD ask... :shrug:

Though... on the bright side, our house has never been cleaner!

So DH and I got back into watching the show. For some reason we gave up on it mid-season last year. But with you all talking about it, we've watched the last two episodes. Though I didn't love the last one. I don't think I'm a huge fan of the Marshall character. ...or maybe I just really don't enjoy watching close ups of him eating a burger...:shrug:

Here's our cake:

Except the icing will be pale blue instead of white. Cake itself will be plain white cake...my fave. :slurp:

Adam will have an X-box 360 shaped groom's cake. :rolleyes:

Since we cater as a second job... we've seen much worse (or better, depending how you look at it) grooms cakes. I think they're usually cool!

Patience on the house - easier said than done, i know. But it's early times yet and the house is soooo cute. It will sell soo. The cleaner part is awesome but that gets old quick!

I'm good. Still praying we get some action on our house that's on the market. Trying to get things ready at work for my vacation next week.

Oh! Not sure if I mentioned it on here... October 19th will be the first day DH gets to preach all three services on Sunday morning! It's a huge step for him! :sohappy:

I think I hurt my back Friday. It does feel better but is still sore.
