I know the extension seems crazy, but it makes sense to me. (I believe) Bob has identified a candidate who he is preparing for the role. I assume he told the board this is a great person, but this person could use another year or two of mentoring to really prepare them to run DIS. Or maybe the board and he are both a little nervous about how the legal issues with RCID and the development agreement will play out. But I have a clear thought on where this is headed.

Also I don't think Bob can successfully string the board along any farther than the 2026 end time, and even that date I'm not sure he gets to. He HAS been successful at stringing along a number of apprentices over the past 15 years or so, until they wisen up. I'm certainly willing to admit the obvious, but I think even Bob knows he's run the same play too many times in a row.

So he's trying to convince Josh to wear cardigans and slacks instead of skinny jeans and sport coats?

Bob can string the board HE appointed along as long as he wishes.

Hollywood doesn’t keep secrets very well…

If there was a person…it would be out there.

Mainly BY THE PERSON…it gives them more cred incase Bob decides he never liked his family…again
