Now I`m confused.

Yes, the inferno barge has multiple jets and always has - both horizontally and vertically. Is this the `circle` effect? Always been there, just easier to see on a stopped-down video.

Waves? Circles? The lasers have been enhanced for the new version of the show but I can`t see any actual new effects. The timings of the syncrolights has been altered to illuminate in a sequence during WGO too.

As for the 7.01 effect - well, it`s different. They took the final high level perims and used them here instead. Bad idea IMHO. The comets colliding as the new Millenium begins is now lost - if there is any story left at the mo. Unless it was an error?

If you are confused it's not good!:lookaroun:lol:

Yeah-The fire circles is normal I guess.

As for the Waves and Circles..They are hard too see but they are there...I think in Adv. and Home.I THINK.I gotta learn my ROE acts.

As for the 7/01 effect...It's your HO but I like it...Looks good there...I don't know about the real show but I think for the filler it looks good.

Yes there is a new wave effect during We Go On.

I am not a fan of using the larger seawall comets at the end of Meaning. They are much better during the short pause before the final barrage of shells.
Another thing I really like is the double barrage of salutes at the very end (the things that go boomboomboomboom boomboomboomboom after the white mines are ignited). I'm not sure what causes this mistake but they can keep it that way if they'd like. :)

I find the Inferno Barge Burnoff at the end of the show to be very ironic.
"Let's celebrate the creation of the earth, the unity of the nations" and then supernova!!!!1one!!1

I agree, its a bad idea. Those are much better served to fill in the gap between the 1000 points of light and final burst of pyro (they were put there for that reason, why change it?). Placing them after Celebration, they get lost with all the other pyro.

Also...Did anyone notice how all of the comets split into 3 comets right after launch?

You can even see it in the Opening AFL!

Huh. After looking at the video, you're right. What happend (at least I'm pretty sure what happend) was that both the large perimeters AND the smaller ones (the ones that usually go off during the Celebration sequence) went off at the same time. You can tell because the smaller ones have tales that sparkle, which you can see in the video.

Not sure what happend with the AFL comet though.

Martin, I think this was a tech issue. I had a video from last night's show and this wasnt happening. The perimeter stuff was firing as normal.

One other thing to consider is the pyro itself will sometimes break into pieces at launch, so you end up with a couple of different ignited pieces flying through the air.

As for the announcements, I'm not sure where I heard it, but I don't believe Mary is still with Disney, is she? If so, thats probably why they are transitioning out her voice for the male voice.

Last night's ROE update:

Clearly, no Earth Barge yet.

Perimeter seawall launches went off as normal, further solidifying the "7:01" launch was accidental, or just an idea that didn't go over well.

The final salutes FINALLY burst in sync, and there wasn't two batches of 'booms'.

So I will be going down from 09/13 - 09/22. From everything that I can see it looks like on 08/23 the Globe went missing and that it was going to be down for 3-4 weeks. Do you think that I will get to see the new/improved/upgraded globe while I am down there?:shrug:
