Castle Heraldry Shoppe

This makes me sad. 'Course, I never bought anything there, but it sure was fun to browse in--Almost its own little walk-through exhibit.

Wasn't it the Villain Shop between being Merlin's and Heraldry?

I haven't ridden Peter Pan for years because the giant line wasn't worth it. Why can't they add a better loading system?
Because the space is tiny and the ride system is part of the charm and fun. I'd be all in favor of an E-ticket Pan ride near Small World and putting a new small dark ride in the current spot (Sword in the Stone!)

In the meantime, the way to ride is to make it your first stop at rope drop. That's what my family does. Indy usually has little wait later in the day, and Space Mtn. is a perfect Fast Pass ride. The line for Pan never goes away.

Doesn't the MK have an omimover type loading system to keep the line moving? It's been so long since I've been I can't remember.

The MK loading system is a bit more efficient, but the line is still miserable - thanks partially to FP. What's sad is their PPF is substantially lamer than ours, even before the 2015 DL update. Tinfoil volcanos in 2016 at the worlds most popular theme park!

If it's replaced with another generic store, I will be bummed, but the store never got a lot of business. I did buy something from there once, and it's really neat. I'm surprised it has stayed open all these years.
This. I never bought anything from there but it was one of those interesting shops that used to be all over Disney parks that seemed to be there more to add to ambiance of the land than to actually pull in a ton of business. I know it likely doesn't make financial sense to keep it going but I at least hope it is replaced by something that is a land-specific shop rather than just a bland store with the same "Disney Parks" merchandise you can get all over the resort.

Exactly. The store fit in quite well with Fantasyland. I was able to look up my last name in the store; found out my name was in the system and my family crest and history popped up. I was so impressed that I got it printed on decorative paper and gave it to my dad for Christmas. He loved it.

I believe land-specific stores are important for the areas of the park. Really, the heraldry shop was the only one in Fantasyland and now it's leaving. :(

I would just like to know why @GiveMeTheMusic ignores my responses. That is all.

I'm so sorry. I get easily distracted! When I saw your reply earlier, Bob Iger texted me. We had drinks at Club 33 and poured them on poor people's heads from the balcony! Class warfare is fun.

To answer your question, rides like PPF and TSMM will be very popular FP choices because they're so difficult to ride most of the time. For that reason, the standby queues will grow beyond their current states. FP is a blessing if you know how to use it, and if you're a poor person, you get cheap booze poured on your head while you wait in a 60 minute line for Pirates.

Lol....No worries! Here's to hoping they fine tune the system to make it work. I'm guessing FPs for rides like Pan and TSMM will go very quickly. Meaning I'll probably still have to get there close to rope drop to ride Pan. Something I have never managed to do and probably never will. Rope drop im referring to not riding Pan.

I was told it would become Peter Pan's FP queue. We'll see.
I just hope this doesn't give them an escuse to take over that whole east side of the castle and close of the walkway that Leda to the wishing well.

I can just see them doing that like when they originally closed off the walkway from tomorrowland to Matterhorn way to add buzz queue then eventually went even further and built Pixy Hollow

Some people are not born to rope drop. I think I've rope dropped once, and it was entirely by accident.

While PPF in WDW is a continuously loading attraction, the speed at which the cars travel through load/unload is slower than Omnimovers like HM, so even though the line is intended to never stop moving, it does so at a slow pace.

And then it stops frequently for FP+

Same here. I did rope drop once but I had to leave because that rising moon was so darn bright! Never again.

Wedging Fastpass into all these new rides, Peter Pan and Midway Mania etc., is a really bold move. When Cynthia Harriss had her Fastpass Disaster back in 2001-2002 even she didn't have the guts to try and add it to Peter Pan. They couldn't get Fastpass off of all those rides fast enough by 2003 once they'd seen the massive mistake and huge mess they'd made. By then, Cynthia had been fired for bad decisions like that and it was up to a new executive team to clean up that Fastpass mess in '03 and '04.

Amazing how TDA executives don't learn. I'm serious about inscribing it on stone tablets to be displayed in the TDA lobby this time. They have to learn this stuff somehow.

Maybe if you weren't just an impoverished serf you too could count your stock options with Bob while throwing cheap booze at the great unwashed as they pass by!

LOL@ "impoverished serf." My peasant @$$ is finally going to get to go Club 33 soon. My aunt (who has known I'm a Disneyland fanatic for years) just recently decides to tell me she's been there many times and that her friend can get me in. Can't wait to try the overpriced mediocre food! It's more just to cross it off my list. I went once when I was 6 years old but that kind of doesn't count.
