Castle Heraldry Shoppe

I'm trying to remember what store was there before Heraldry opened.

They should extend the Peter Pan queue in there, although the shop is so tiny it probably wouldn't help much.

Edit: It was Merlin's Magic Shop.

Well, yeah. I've bought several swords from them. They reside in the mancave. Didn't plan on buying another but its one of those places I always visit. Now I'll have no reason to venture into,"Look-at-all-the-f'n-strollers-land.", I guess?

If it's replaced with another generic store, I will be bummed, but the store never got a lot of business. I did buy something from there once, and it's really neat. I'm surprised it has stayed open all these years.

Digital Fastpass distribution depends on a huge number of attractions as options, so we'll see FP added to a bunch of things that shouldn't have it. Pan, Matterhorn, TSMM, etc. Memories can be short in TDA! This was all tried before (minus Pan of course) and it didn't work.

These decisions won't surprise me. Lots and lots of dummies at Disney, unfortunately.

The wait times will be ridiculous, especially for Pan.

From what I understand stand by wait times went up on rides like Matterhorn and POTC that didn't need FPs but what were the FP wait times like? For something like Pan that I never ride because of the the consistent 45 minute wait and horrible queue for a 2 minute payoff (really less if you consider only the first two scenes being worthwhile) FP would work for me for this particular attraction. But I guess this would be a small gain if people eaters like HM and POTC will have longer stand by wait times. It's always nice to get an FP for Space or Splash and ride one of the reliable short wait people eaters while you wait for your return time.

If FP didn't exist at all the wait times would be shorter over all. Indy could actually use it's fancy queue and we could wait inside Space Mountain like in the old days.

This place always struck me as a weird mix of being appropriate to FL with the European & medieval themes, and a kinda inappropriate place where you can buy an actual battle ax or broadsword. Kind of like if Disney sold real Colt 45 ammunition in Frontierland.

Yeah but you can't actually take it with you for obvious security reasons. The ship it to you at a slow 6-8 week pace. I've been whacked by enough lightsabers. All I need is some kid wielding a broadsword and taking my leg off lol.
