I’d say the good thing about this is that all the parks will be very differentiated around the world, especially once Tokyo Disneyland does their redo.

Disneyland California will remain the best and most special park to visit ❤️

Are you talking about that potential Adventureland redo in Tokyo? That looks wild

Yep! All the parks are going to be very different in the future. And frankly I think that’s good… gives me more reason to visit them.

Disneyland will remain the best and my special home base of Disney, and the rest a fun adventure to get a different experience.

And while obviously making some folks unhappy I can certainly understand the concept of updating/changing different areas of different parks around the world ... And keeping the original park more classic

But there are also attractions at the other end of the spectrum, (i.e., Kaiser Aluminum Hall of Fame) which are "a product of their time," and their time is in the past.
The main reason for such "attractions" in DL's earliest TL was to have something/anything there... as Disney simply ran out of money in 1955. I know we're 70 years removed (ie: those who visited as a 7 year old are now 77 years old, so most of earliest visitors are simply no longer with us at all), but I never heard of anyone being nostalgic for those specific attractions exclusive to the 1955 Tomorrowland (the earliest examples I can think of for nostalgia for ex-attractions of TL are "House of Future" and "Flying Saucers" which opened a few years later. My point is....whereas I doubt anyone mourned the closure of KAHoF or the "Bathroom of the Future," I acknowledge that if/when HoP, certainly a product of its time, ever closes, many (including me) will be upset for many valid, nostalgic reasons.

I have written an article about the history and unlikely future of HoP. It is reflective of my opinions so if it crosses a line, Mods, Feel free to remove it

I guess this is trying to look on the bright side, but when I’m staring at construction walls and eventually googly eyes, I won’t feel better knowing that Disneyland doesn’t have this mess. If anything it’ll make it worse. Degrading Disney World is in no way a good thing

You did your homework!

Also, I always thought it was most-appropriate, and extremely-touching, that they still brought the Obama bust (for the eventual animatronic) over to Blaine Gibson for his "blessing."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was it either Obama or Trump when they started posting Disney Security at every show? It's sad they felt it had to be done. Either way, to me that's an additional sign the show has run its course in my reluctant opinion. Booing at an animatronic (right or left) is just childish imo.

Conversely, I feel AA is much more "safe."

The enhanced security began when the attraction reopened in 2017
