MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

On a more serious note, those photos illustrate something about RoA that I don't want people to forget

For all the comments insisting that the area was boring, or that they didn't care, no one has ever called the river and especially not the riverboat itself, ugly

It's a word that's often used to describe other things in Disney parks, but never this space

And having nice looking things just for the sake of having them, is a large part of what makes Disney theme parks Disney

Look at all that WASTED, UNDERULTIZED space!

Can't believe the clowns in charge waited 50 years to do something about it!

Soon I'll be able to buy a $40 mixed drink from Cruella's Cabaret, get on a roller coaster and throw up after!

It's gonna be sick...just like me!

;)
I’m also angry at the river’s loss, but Villains Land isn’t what’s replacing it.

It’s a good chunk of what is replacing it. Cars is only going into the southern portion of the river space.

And the entirety of the river is important too, not just the most visible portions along guest pathways

That you can't see it all from those locations helps to sell the illusion of the space extending far beyond the park and with sightlines from the North end of the river.

Like how the Jungle Cruise would be less interesting if you could see it all from the loading dock.

Given that the poster I was responding to framed his (perfectly legitimate) complaint in terms of the area's beauty, I thought we were talking about the sections visible from Frontierland and Liberty Square, not the parts that relatively few guests ever saw.

Speaking of controversial, and speaking of plugging things into Epcot, can we just move Hall of Presidents over to next to The American Adventure. Looks like we need 32,000 sq. ft. It would be less controversial over there and it frees up space in the "Magic" Kingdom for something more family-fun and playful. Maybe it could be a walk-through attraction (more literally a "Hall") so you can visit and snap photos with the presidents you want to.

If we're moving rides around (extremely costly and unlikely), can we move small world on top of the short film festival building. I'm willing to sacrifice swirled showcase and/or the playground/festival booths if needed. Plenty of space for those elsewhere. That ride is on a huge plot (almost 60k sqft) in a section of fantasyland that could be a prime candidate for a refurb/retheme in the coming decades

I don’t understand why people want to move a castle park classic out of the castle park. Why don’t we move pirates and haunted mansion over to studios as well?
Beyond Big Thunder Mountain was always just really adjacent.
That is not my understanding.
