I’ve predicted price increases every year since 1998. I’m only batting .925, though, they snuck in a year or two without raising the lowest price.

I think many around here would be shocked to know just how many posters know people 'in the industry', yet don't pump them for information or 'drop hints' or divulge anything that is shared with them in conversation. The biggest difference is that some want to "build a brand" off of those connections while most don't. “Content creator” just doesn’t have the same long-term earning potential as actual skills and trades, but we can only lead the horses to the water.

define "very few"... Maybe it doesn't pull in huge numbers but we are not looking at 5 or 10 people a day...we are looking at more like a few thousand a day...(according to the interwebs) that is not really a "very few" people...

Disney has definitely proven that early concept art is more like "the beginning of an idea of a possibility of a concept" art. Has any modern project at WDW been close to the initial concept art?

Go check the initial concept art. Slinky Dog was much more impressive. But it did foreshadow the total lack of shade...

In my opinion, we can not trust Disney's concept drawings for multiple reasons I think.

When the concepts are created and released they actually do not know what they are going to build, another reason is all the cost cutting the happens between the time they start building and the day they finally open whatever they are building.

I don't know what has been the best, but without a doubt, the EPCOT refresh art was the worst. It was not so much a concept but an LSD trip.

Concept art is the epitome and embodiment of speculation, hopes, and wishes.

I get the impression concept art is the high point for WDI

then the reality sets in…the “mandates” start to pile up
