I get the impression concept art is the high point for WDI

then the reality sets in…the “mandates” start to pile up
The Disney bean counters see the original concept art, and this is how they respond:

when the reality is the issue is the really dumb stuff some of you choose to criticize rather than the stuff that actually warrants it.
But who judges what warrants criticism?

Losing the riverboat?
Losing the Island?
Losing the rafts to and from the island?
Losing the current theme of Frontierland?
Adding to the cartoonification of Disney Parks?

This is a high priced theme park we are talking about, in the grand scheme of things any criticism is just a first world problem.
Which is EXACTLY why those paying those prices should fire away…

The market dictates it. If it’s wrong…you reject it.

Only in the bizarro psychology world of Disney fandom is it suggested we should cheer for the suck.

Big Brother Bob is watching…I guess?

My favorite recently was that crane in mid-construction looks too big at Big Thunder.

I haven't been to WDW in 5 1/2 years-do they still have that cream cheese filled pretzel in Tomorrowland? Or the cheeseburger egg rolls in MK? If they're gone the next time I visit, I'm chaining myself to the Partner statue and starting a hunger strike until they come back.
You should chain yourself to the new crapper Walt statue in Epcot…that way if nature calls…you’re ready

Disney parks operate on a mass model

That’s how it profits and drives the other business segments

“Some” is irrelevant. It’s what becomes generally accepted and draws people in that matters
In that same respect, the general public is fine with Tiana's. Some first-time guests (this is not a joke) haven't even heard of Splash Mountain beyond the name. Some people love Splash and wanted to save it, the masses love Tiana's. It can't be both ways

That’s true…

The problem with Tiana’s is it took a popular ride offline…reskins don’t help the parks at all…and frankly…Tiana’s has never been a popular IP. They just won’t give it up. It will diminish in time like splash really didn’t.

A rapunzel logflume with lanterns in the middle of the ride would pack em in…

And they already have the bathroom nearby

Honestly if the survey from D23 Brazil about Cars 4 being in production indicates anything, Disney might be trying to coincide the opening of the land with Cars 4. Just a thought.
