Jack from DSNY gave a good map overview for the project and lands size.

11 acres would put villains at Pandora and New Fantasyland size and when combined with Cars would make the entire project about an acre or two larger than GE.

It will be interesting to see this when it opens 10 years from now.

Its funny, when this finally opens folks will be saying "Trump who?" and HoP will be long gone and forgotten.

View attachment 824645I was really bored so figured why not have some fun. I know it's not dead on and there's some guess work (esp for villains) but gives you an idea. Am very curious how the back of Cars is gonna be themed/look from the bottom of Tianas and Pecos. Along with Villains from Thunder.
I really like this mockup, the only thing that looks a little off is that villains land is right up against BTMRR. I hope they don't do that and that there's more of a buffer zone since that would clash heavily with BTMRR IMO.

Sadly you have to get all of those people over/under the train tracks... Which is no small feat. The space behind the HM show building to the train tracks is about the amount of space that the Slinky dog coaster takes up in Toystory land...with a spinner... Hopefully they are thinking bigger for Villains, but it would not surprise me to have it be smaller than anticipated....View attachment 824718

To be fair, Toy Story Land is kind of notoriously poorly designed. It's one of the worst uses of space anywhere at WDW in terms of what it offers vs. the footprint.

If Villains land needs more space for a coaster, it can go over the train track into 'beyond the berm' even if the guests in the land don't cross it on foot.
Yes!!! Absolutely, and I would think they would have to do it that way... Keep the walkways and most areas on the inside of the berm, and allow the coaster/show buildings to cross the berm....If there is a dark ride, it would be fabulous to have the train pass through the show building like the people mover used to....a little preview of the Dark Side of the Magic Kingdom....
