They’re still in business. Patents protect a specific process. It’s why anyone can buy a flying theater even though Disney owns the patent on the Soarin’ system.Considering the SFX coaster basically bankrupted them and the whole company was sold off last year, I wonder if Disney could've bought the patents for the ride design.
Going on Grizzly while reading this lolsuspect this is going to be themed as well as Grizzly River Run, which is one of the best rapid rides in the world, and one of the most beautifully themed.
Fair enough. It kind of seemed like they were but everything pointed to them closing down. They’re still in business. Patents protect a specific process. It’s why anyone can buy a flying theater even though Disney owns the patent on the Soarin’ system.
Disney "dirt"Struggling to visualize how a dirt road ride track will be drivable with all the florida rain. The upkeep on this attraction will be astronomical. Still looks fascinating to me though! Looking forward to seeing it come together.

I think both of these things are applicable. There's so many red flags with this ride and yet they're still going through with it. It’s either they only care about shareholders or Iger just has a massive ego.
It’s a terrible move for shareholders - a waste of money. If cars need to be in MK update the speedway. Its either they only care about shareholders or Iger just has a massive ego.
It won’t be an actual dirt road ride track. Just like KSR doesn’t have a dirt road ride track.Struggling to visualize how a dirt road ride track will be drivable with all the florida rain. Notice the part where I said, “very recently.”Must be why all the latest attractions operate so flawlessly

Location. What’s wrong here — the ride system, the location, or *gestures* everything?
Guaranteed the bean counters internally view this as the perfect solution.Location.
5. Sell the queue jumping tickets for it to the max.Guaranteed the bean counters internally view this as the perfect solution.
1. Gets rid of a controversial topic/area with Tom Sawyer
2. Prime real estate in the most visited theme park in the world
3. “New ride!!!” / Press boon
4. Increased merchandise potential
Of course the bean counters don’t care about thematic consistency, story telling, the art of negative space, nor the dynamics a quiet part of the park brings to the table.
Burbank is full of useless suits, and lacks creative direction who understands the intent of the parks. The Bobs have been a complete disaster on this company…
Well yeah, if you only look at the test video that has none of the thematic elements and think that's exactly what it will look like in MK and refuse to look at the concept art that includes snow capped mountains and geysers and other National Park elements.I am appalled, this looks to be nothing more than a giant ugly dirt monster rally pit plopped down in the Magic Kingdom..
